CONTENT WARNING: This episode contains discussions about suicide, including detailed conversations on warning signs and prevention. We understand this may be a difficult or triggering topic for some listeners. If you or someone you know is struggling, please consider seeking support from a mental health professional or contacting a suicide prevention hotline (988). Your well-being is important, and there are resources available to help.
In today's episode, we invite back Ashley Luongo, LMHC to discuss the sensitive yet important topic of suicide. We'll discuss common misconceptions, identify key warning signs, and highlight the resources available for those in need. By breaking the silence, we can reduce stigma, increase awareness, and ultimately save lives. We also reflect on our experience at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Dark Overnight Walk in Boston from this past October.
Join us as work to create a world where no one feels alone in their darkest moments.
