  • Thursday Thoughts - Integrity

    On today’s Thursday's Thoughts, Lucy and I are talking about integrity.

    The word integrity means intact, whole, undivided; and the real question is: are we living in integrity, or are we out of integrity, divided from ourselves?

    In this conversation, Lucy and I talk about the societal conditioning that sends many of us down the ‘conveyor belt’ of life, away from our true nature and the things we truly desire for ourselves.

    We also talk about situations in which we both found ourselves living out of integrity, and what we did to move ourselves back into alignment.

  • Thursday Thoughts - Perspective

    On this week’s Thursdays Thoughts, Lucy and I are talking about perspective.

    Perspective is the way we see and interpret the world around us—it’s like the lens we choose to look through every day.

    It shapes how we handle challenges, make decisions, and connect with others.

    When we look through a positive, open perspective, we feel more resilient, grateful, and happy, while a negative one can leave us feeling stressed, frustrated or even stuck.

    The good news is, we can improve our perspective by practicing things like gratitude, looking for the lessons in tough times, staying mindful, and seeking out different viewpoints.

    It’s not about pretending life is perfect, but learning to see challenges as opportunities to grow. When we choose a healthier perspective, life feels lighter, clearer, and so much more rewarding.

  • Thursday Thoughts - The Let Them Theory
    2024/11/28

    On this week's Thursday Thoughts, Lucy and I are talking about Mel Robbins' Let Them Theory — a simple idea that's all about letting go of the need to control or change how others think, act, or feel, about you or anything else.

    The idea is straightforward: when people behave in ways you don't like — whether they doubt you, ignore you, criticise you, laugh at you, disagree with you — your best move is to just...let them.

    This approach helps us to stop overthinking, trying to change other people, or taking things personally. It can ease alot of stress and give you the emotional freedom to focus on what really matters — i.e. what YOU do, say, think, and how you act.

    Instead of worrying what others think, the Let Them mindset encourages you to put your energy into your own goals, growth, and happiness. It's a simple shift that can make a big difference to how you feel.

    It's so easy to apply, and it's something we can all use to feel more peaceful, and live a little happier.

  • Thursday Thoughts - Possibility
    2024/11/21

    On today’s Monday Motivation, Lucy and I are talking about possibility…

    So many of us hold ourselves back in life because we don’t think things are possible for us. We allow our limiting beliefs to convince us that this or that could “never happen for me.”

    But what if we start to cultivate a mindset that believes in possibility? What if we allow ourselves to dream that the things we truly desire ARE possible, if we just believe in ourselves, and start taking baby steps towards them?

    If we fight for our limitations, we get to keep them (a wise person once said, not me!); so let’s start leaning into the possibility that we, too, are just as worthy, deserving and capable of achieving the things we dream of as anybody else.

    Because, seriously, why not you? 😉

  • TT - Living with intention

    On this week's Thursday Thoughts, Lucy & I are talking about living intentionally.

    Being intentional means cultivating awareness of how you're living and how you're showing up in the world. Without this awareness, it's easy to slip into autopilot, letting life pass us by without feeling like we're the ones in control.

    But when you choose to live with intention, you become conscious of where you're directing your thoughts and your energy.

    You become more present, making deliberate choices that align with your values and goals, and you reclaim control of how you respond to life's daily challenges.

  • Thursday Thoughts - Embracing Ageing
    2024/11/07

    On this week's Thursday's Thoughts, Lucy and I are talking about embracing ageing.

    It’s time to change the narrative - and let’s face it, we’re talking about women here - that you are ‘past your sell by date’ once you hit 40, 50, 60 etc.

    The truth is that age brings with it so many wonderful things, not least confidence, wisdom and experience. And can choose to embrace getting older by looking after ourselves properly, and truly owning the fact that age is just a number. Because let’s not forget the alternative…💀

    Rather than focusing on external beauty, we’re better off focusing on our inner landscape, because it’s our energy and our vibrancy that actually shine through, no matter how old we are.

    Women, like men, get better with age. So let’s not write ourselves off because we still have so much to give!

    And finally, don’t listen to the noise. Keep doing the inner work and your true beauty will radiate from within. 🩶🖤🤍
