    When your behavior matches your values, life is usually pretty good; you're in the flow and basically content. But when things don't align with your personal values, you feel tense and out of sync, which is also known as cognitive dissonance. If you don’t bridge the gap between who you are and who you want to be, it will diminish your self esteem, it will affect your relationships and this leads to those stressful feelings of anxiety, shame, regret, and frustration.
