Next, Maya exposes Amy to a new AI band Girly Girl Productions. Amy did not see this coming. In other news, Amy hates the Oxford word of the year. Maya just learned about BookTok. Amy loves author readings at bookstores - even if she’s never read the book! The ladies reminisce about the video store adult section. The pod’s favorite rat boy Timothée Chalamet is in town promoting his Bob Dylan movie A Complete Unknown. The ladies ask why the hell is he coming here trying to convince people to like Minnesota. Apparently, we are “generous of spirit” whatever that means. Maya just learned about Shaboozey. He was snubbed at the CMAs! In restaurant news, a favorite childhood restaurant, Chi-Chi’s, returns! Don’t worry that they once gave 600 people Hep A. Animal Report: Orcas are wearing “salmon hats”. Amy does not miss late-night pasteboard runs for school projects.

In other news, Amy has turned her bathtub into a plant ICU. Hometown hero Josh Hartnett is back! Maya has a correction from the last episode concerning Kum & Go and Pump & Munch. She got her filthy gas stations mixed up. Maya reviews the movie lien: Romulus. Amy can’t wait for celebrity variety show season. Amy is excited about Ben Stiller. Speaking of houses, Maya’s childhood home is for sale. Don’t worry, she’s not sentimental about it. What happened to the carpeted poles? Amy and Maya reminisce about one of Amy’s childhood homes. They solve the mystery of why they didn’t go to the same elementary school. Maya learns about “Pow Ball” and introduces Amy to ESPN Ocho and “Roof Ball”. Amy recaps the Netflix failed attempt to live broadcast the big fight. Maya puts herself in the shoes of the person in charge of the failed Netflix live broadcast. It’s not a good feeling. Next up, an in-depth analysis of the Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum break-up. The ladies are totally jazzed for Christmas romcom season including “Hot Frosty”, a movie about Lacey Chabert (of Party of Five fame) falling in love with a hot snowman that comes to life. It’s a good thing she didn’t put that magic scarf on a dumpy snowman. Sad news, the gas station brand Kum & Go is rebranding.
