  • Ep 531: What Most Entrepreneurs Forget About Being Your Own Boss (best of the podcast)
    2025/04/10

There’s a lot of talk in the entrepreneurial world about the dream of “being your own boss.” But what happens when you finally become your own boss… and realise you’ve turned into the worst boss you’ve ever had?

This episode introduces a different way of thinking about how perfectionism is showing up in your business. It’s a metaphor that’ll help you really see why you keep getting in your own way – and what to do about it. Because when your perfectionism handbrake is on, it doesn’t matter how motivated or disciplined you are. You’ll still feel behind, burned out, overthinking everything, and wondering why nothing is working.

In this episode, I’m walking you through what it means to be both the boss and the employee in your business – and how perfectionism can make both of those roles way harder than they need to be. I’ll show you how to start being the kind of boss you actually want to work for (no matter where you’re at right now), and why that shift alone can change everything.

Inside PGSD, we teach you how to be the kind of boss you’d actually like to work for and the kind of employee who gets shit done without burning out.

If you’ve been spinning your wheels and wondering what you’re missing, this episode will help you understand what’s really going on and how to finally get out of your own way.

  • Ep 530: Power Planning When You Have Big Goals + A Busy Life with Eliška Krajickova (best of the podcast)
    2025/04/08

Power Planning works for entrepreneurs at every level of income, whether you're just starting out, trying to make your first consistent income, or already running a seven-figure business. When your perfectionist mindset is working for you instead of against you, creating time and space for what matters becomes so much easier.

Eliška already had a seven-figure jewellery business when she signed up for Perfectionists Getting Shit Done (PGSD). But she was exhausted. There was no breathing room in her schedule. Her dream of starting a coaching business had been sitting on the backburner for years. And the idea of having a second child felt like too much to handle.

Fast forward to today and Eliška now has two successful businesses and is eight months pregnant with baby number two. Thanks to the changes she made inside PGSD, her husband was able to quit his CEO role to be home with the kids (something they never imagined was possible when she first joined).

In this episode, Eliška shares how Power Planning helped her simplify everything she was doing and finally make time for more. More presence with her family. More connection with her husband. More progress in her business. And, most importantly, more trust in herself to follow through without the all-or-nothing pressure.

We talk about the real changes she experienced in her work and home life, how PGSD helped her feel supported without needing to show up to live coaching calls, and what she would say if you're on the fence about joining.

If you're feeling overwhelmed trying to juggle it all or frustrated that you're not making the progress you know you're capable of, this episode will help you see that it’s not about working harder or being more disciplined. It’s about learning how to plan in a way that actually works for your perfectionist brain. PGSD gives you the tools, support, and structure to finally follow through without burning out or falling off track when life gets full.

  • Ep 529: Perfectionists Getting Shit Done: What It Is, Who It's For + Why It Works
    2025/04/06

You either work nonstop trying to catch up or avoid your to-do list completely — and no matter what, it feels like you’re falling behind.

If that sounds familiar, this episode is for you.

Whether you’re new to the podcast or have been listening for years, I’m breaking down what Perfectionists Getting Shit Done (PGSD) actually is, who it’s for, and why it works so well for perfectionist entrepreneurs who are stuck in overwhelm, procrastination, and self-doubt.

PGSD is a productivity program that’s built specifically for perfectionist entrepreneurs. Instead of forcing yourself to be more disciplined or relying on willpower, you’ll learn how to plan properly, follow through consistently, and build real momentum in your business. You’ll stop over-editing, overthinking, and burning yourself out trying to do everything perfectly — and finally become someone who gets shit done.

In this episode, I walk you through the PGSD Process, share real transformations from PGSDers, and help you figure out if it’s the right next step for you.

  • Ep 528: How My Clean Rest Practice Has Evolved + What I Do When I’m Resting [Part 5: Clean Rest Series]
    2025/04/04

This is Part 5 of my 5-Part Clean Rest Series. I first experimented with clean rest in 2014 (though I didn’t have a name for it back then). I just knew I needed a break.

In 2018, after another exhausting launch, I came back to it with intention. I was tired of burning out every time I pushed for a big goal. Something had to change.

Now, clean rest is the backbone of my business. It grounds me. It gives me the courage to put my ideas out there, even when they’re not perfect. And it’s the reason I haven’t burned out in over three years, even while making more money than ever and navigating motherhood.

In this final episode of the clean rest series, I’m sharing how my own journey with clean rest has evolved and what it looks like for me now - both in business and in life.

  • Ep 527: What Counts As Clean Rest + What Doesn’t [Part 4: Clean Rest Series]
    2025/04/02

This is Part 4 of my 5-Part Clean Rest Series. There’s one mindset shift every perfectionist entrepreneur needs to make about clean rest:

Clean rest that doesn’t feel good is still clean rest.

Even when you’re feeling bored, restless, agitated, or like you “should” be doing something more productive… it still counts.

Clean rest isn’t about always feeling peaceful, recharged or inspired. Sometimes it will feel that way. But other times, it’ll feel uncomfortable. You might find yourself itching to check your emails or thinking about everything you “should” be doing instead. And that’s completely normal.

You’re a human, not a machine. You’re not supposed to feel happy or motivated 100% of the time. And if you’re judging the quality of your rest based on how it feels, that perfectionist thinking is sneaking in through the back door – making you overthink your time off and work harder to “rest the right way.”

This episode is a coaching call with PGSDer Jenna where we dive into all of this: what actually counts as clean rest, what doesn’t, and why it’s still valuable even when it doesn’t feel perfect. We talk about the discomfort that can come up when you’re learning to let yourself truly rest, and how clean rest supports you in working towards your business goals without burning yourself out.

If you’ve been trying to “do rest right,” or only allow yourself time off when you’ve earned it, this episode is exactly what you need to hear.

    2025/03/31

This is Part 3 of my 5-Part Clean Rest Series. In the previous episode of my clean rest series, I talked about how working from a to-do list makes it hard to get clean rest.

So what should you do instead?

Where does clean rest go in your calendar and how much of it do you need?

And how do you rest when you’ve planned, so you honour your rest?

I answer these questions and give you practical advice in today’s episode. If you’re wondering how to plan out your clean rest properly each week, listen in.

  • Ep 525: 5 Reasons Clean Rest Is Hard When You're Working From A To-Do List [Part 2: Clean Rest Series]
    2025/03/29

This is Part 2 of my 5-Part Clean Rest Series. We perfectionists LOVE a good to-do list…

But working from a to-do list makes it really challenging to get enough clean rest - even if you’re making a real effort to have more work-life balance.

And I share the five reasons why - and helpful examples for each reason - in this second episode of my clean rest series. I also talk about why there’s never any time for rest and why you feel behind when you work from a to-do list.

If you only get a break from your business when you’re busy recovering from burnout, this clean rest series - and today’s episode in particular - is going to be insanely helpful.

  • Ep 524: An Introduction to Clean Rest + Why It's Essential For Perfectionists [Part 1: Clean Rest Series]
    2025/03/27

This is Part 1 of my 5-Part Clean Rest Series. If you’re sick of being behind in your business (even though you’re doing ALL the things), this episode is for you.

I explain what clean rest is (i.e. resting without guilt) and why it’s essential for perfectionists.

It may not feel like it, but clean rest will help you work better and build a better business (with less overwhelm, less procrastination and less burnout).

You’ll have plenty of clean rest scheduled in your calendar when you’re planning properly as a perfectionist.

All that clean rest won’t be scary because you’ll be so clear on what’s important vs what isn’t, when you work best and how to keep your plans workable so you never fall behind. You’ll be able to ENJOY your time off.

It’s time to start planning properly as a perfectionist - and that includes getting the clean rest you need. And anyone can learn how…
