  • サマリー

  • Episode Summary:
In this powerful episode, we sit down with Corinna Dunn, a passionate advocate for mental and physical wellness. Corinna shares her inspirational journey of overcoming childhood trauma and abuse, emphasizing the importance of healing and self-care. She discusses the transformative practices that helped her reclaim her life and advocates for others to embrace their own healing journeys.

    About Corinna Dunn:

Corinna Dunn, most people call her Cori! She is a model, author, fitness trainer, and host of The Melanin Wellness Podcast. Her mission is to inspire others to prioritize wellness, embrace healing, and live their boldest lives.

In 2024, She was honored to receive ACHI Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award, recognizing her work in empowering women to thrive through fitness, wellness, and self-discovery. This recognition reflects her dedication to helping others turn challenges into opportunities for growth.

Through her personal journey of overcoming childhood trauma, abuse, and life’s many curveballs, she's learned firsthand that healing isn’t linear—it’s a process of resilience, grace, and transformation. These experiences inspired her book, Note to Self: Lessons on Trauma and Thriving in Its Aftermath, and her six-week podcast mini-series, Note to Self: Your Toolkit for Healing.

When she is not writing or podcasting, she's either on the runway as a print and runway model, coaching women over with her fitness program 20-minute Brickhouse, or creating digital resources like her e-book Habitually Fit or the quick healthy eating recipe guide Brickhouse Boosts. She believes in empowering people with real, actionable advice and sprinkling in a bit of humor along the way. She's passionate about lifting others up, sparking authentic conversations, and leaving the audience inspired to take the next step in their wellness journey.
