このコンテンツについて

Hey there! My name is Keegan, Host of ”Retrieving Sanity”, an upcoming podcast aiming to become a non-profit for mental health resources and services for veterans, people struggling with homelessness, addiction, and traumas. I started this podcast a little into my Recovery Journey that kicked off from a near-death-experience and a 9 month rehab. I want everyone to feel heard, seen, understood, and most importantly, not alone. To do this, I speak with life coaches (of all sorts!), experts in the mental health field, fellow addicts (in or out of recovery), and anyone that wants to share their story so they can let others know they aren’t alone. We dive into rabbit holes, follow straight trains, and explore everything in between that mental health has to offer! I don’t believe there’s only one way to Recovery or Mental Clarity, and I encourage everyone to listen, try stuff out, see what works, what doesn’t and share it with others! If you like what you hear, leave a review, subscribe to the YouTube Channel, and check us out on air on WDJY 99.1 FM (Every Friday 7am EST) or TV (TBA)! Retrieving Sanity is here to help you pick up the pieces of yourself, reclaim your mental sovereignty, and together, we can help make the world a better place, one conversation at a time! 2025/07/03

    Takeaways

Sebastian's immigrant background shaped his perspective on success. Success is often a long journey filled with struggles. Happiness should be found in the journey, not just the destination. Reflecting on past experiences can help in personal growth. Being present is crucial for mental well-being. Anxiety can be overcome through practice and purpose. Risk-taking is essential for pursuing one's passions. Hard work should be directed towards personal goals, not just corporate ones. Manifestation is about recognizing opportunities around you. Articulating thoughts clearly can enhance personal and professional relationships. Living intentionally opens up opportunities. Many people wear blinders that limit their vision. Routine can lead to a rusted, unfulfilled life. Fear should be managed, not ignored. Greatness is about alignment with purpose. Settling for a mediocre job can lead to unhappiness. Salary can trap you into forgetting your dreams. Nonprofit work can be a powerful way to help others. You have the potential to activate momentum at any time. Just start taking steps towards your goals.
