    The Red Sox (68-56) clinched the series victory over the Miami Marlins by holding on for a 7-5 victory Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park. The Sox have won 7 straight home series at Fenway. Aroldis Chapman had to come on and get the final out in the 9th inning after the Marlins got 3 2-out runs off Isaiah Campbell in the 9th Inning. The Sox will go for their 7th sweep of the season and 6th at home Sunday afternoon. -----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello notched his 9th win of the season on Saturday. Bello gave up 2 earned runs on 2 solo Home Runs over 6.1 Innings. He walked no one and struck out 2. Bello retired 8 in a row before allowing a solo Home Run to Troy Johnston in the 5th Inning. Augustin Ramirez hit a Home Run to leadoff the 7th against Bello. The Sox are now 11-10 in Bello's 21 starts this season. Bello has now allowed 2 runs or less in 11 of his game starts this season. ----- Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board in the 1st Inning against Cal Quantrill. Masa Yoshida knocked in a pair of runs with a 2-out Single. In the 3rd, Jarren Duran made it 3-0 with an RBI Double. The next hitter, Trevor Story, made it 6-0 with a 3-run Home Run over the Green Monster in Left. Alex Bregman made it 7-0 with a 2-out Single in the 4th Inning.     The Red Sox (66-56) walked off with a 2-1 win over the Miami Marlins in the series opener Friday night at Fenway Park. It's the Sox 28th comeback win of the season. The Red Sox were out hit 9-3. Trevor Story had 2 of the Hits, including the game-winner in the 9th. -----Going with Gio: Lucas Giolito, who has been terrific in recent starts at Fenway, made the start in the opener and worked into the 7th Inning. Giolito gave up 1 earned run on 7 Hits (5 Doubles) and ended up with a no-decision. Giolito gave up an RBI Double to Kyle Stowers in the 3rd Inning to get the Marlins on the board first. He exited after giving up a 1-out Single in the 7th and the game tied at 1-1. The Marlins went 1-for-10 with RISP against Giolito. He walked 1 and struck out 5. The Red Sox are now (13-6) in Giolito's 19 starts this season. ----- Sox at the Dish: The Red Sox were retired 1-2-3 in each of the first 4 Innings by Sandy Alcantara. Trevor Story led off the 5th with a single, stole 2nd, but was left stranded. The Sox tied the game at 1-1 against Alcantara in the Bottom of the 6th. Roman Anthony walked with 2 outs and scored all the way from 1st on a 2-out, RBI Double from Alex Bregman. Roman Anthony and Alex Bregman opened the 9th with walks and Jarren Duran was hit by a pitch to load the bases and that set things up for Story. -----At-Bat of the Night: Trevor Story walked it off in the Bottom of the 9th with an RBI Single. The Sox have 40 Games remaining in the regular season and open up a 5-Game Homestand at Fenway Friday night. -----Buehler in Finale: The Sox handed the ball to Walker Buehler for the start in the series finale against the Astros Wednesday night. Buehler gave up a leadoff Home Run to Jeremey Pena to start the game. The Astros added a 2nd run in the 1st inning on a 2-out Single from Yainer Diaz. Buehler settled in nicely after the 1st Inning and he retired 9 in a row and 15 of 16 before running into trouble in the 6th. Buehler walked a hitter with 2 outs and then Diaz made it 4-1 with a 2-run Home Run. Buehler went 6.0 IP and allowed 4 earned runs on 4 Hits (2 Home Runs). He walked 4 and struck out 3. He departed the game with the Sox trailing, 4-1. ----- Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board against Hunter Brown with Ceddanne Rafaela knocking in a run with a 2-out Single. Brown departed after allowing 1 earned run over 6.2 Innings. Top-3 Hitters in the Sox lineup (Anthony, Bregman & Duran) combined to go 0-for-8 with a walk against Brown.     The Red Sox (66-55) avoided a 4th straight loss with a (14-1) blowout win over the Astros Tuesday night at Daikin Park in Houston. The series is even at 1-1 and the Red Sox are now 4-1 on the season against the Astros. It's the Sox 66th win of the season. They won their 66th game last season on August 20 at Houston. The Sox are now 19-0 when scoring 10 or more runs in a Game this season. -----Going with May: Dustin May turned in his terrific outing in his 2nd start with the Red Sox. The 27-year-old tossed 6 scoreless innings and exited with an 8-0 lead. May walked 1 and struck out 8. He gave up a Single on the 1st pitch of the Game to Jeremey Pena and 5 hits total (all Singles). He was 20 of 24 on 1st-pitch strikes.----- Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board first for the 2nd straight night. Trevor Story was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the 3rd to bring in the Sox first run. Masa Yoshida picked up an RBI with a Sac Fly to make it 2-0. The Sox added on with Carlos Narvaez tagging a 3-run Home Run (#10) in the 6th that made it 5-0. After a two-out walk to Roman Anthony (his 3rd of the Game), Alex Bregman hit his 2nd Homer (#16) of the series that made it 7-0. Wilyer Abreu added on with a run-scoring Double in the 7th. Roman Anthony hit his 2nd Home Run in 2 Games with a solo shot in the 8th. Later in the inning, Abreu knocked in 2 more runs with his 2nd Double of the Game. -----At-Bat of the Night: Carlos Narvaez made it 5-0 in the 6th with a 2-out, 3-run Home Run. According to Baseball Savant the Narvaez would have been out in all 30 Big League Ballparks. (Exit Velocity- 108.6). -----#'s of the Night: --Trevor Story made it a perfect 20-20 on the season in stolen bases when he stole 2nd in the 3rd Inning. It's the 4th time that Story has stolen 20 or more bases in a season. He did it 3 times with the Rockies, including a career-high 27 stolen bases in 2018.--The Red Sox have hit 6 Home Runs in the 1st 2 Games of the Series in Houston and 9 Home Runs in 5 games against the Astros this season. --It's the 40th time this season where the Sox hit 2 or more Home Runs in a Game (31-9) and 14th time this season with 3 Homers in a Game (11-3).--In Wednesday's series finale, the Red Sox will be looking to win a series for the 10th time this season after losing the series opener. -----What's On Tap?: The Red Sox and Astros wrap up their series Wednesday night in Houston. Walker Buehler faces RHP Hunter Brown in Wednesday's finale. Buehler tossed 6 scoreless and picked up the win in the Red Sox 10-2 win over the Padres Fright nigh tin San Diego. After Wednesday, the Sox return home and open up a 3-game series with the Miami Marlins on Friday. The Red Sox will also have a 2-game series with the Baltimore Orioles that starts next Monday.
