 The Red Sox (68-56) clinched the series victory over the Miami Marlins by holding on for a 7-5 victory Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park. The Sox have won 7 straight home series at Fenway. Aroldis Chapman had to come on and get the final out in the 9th inning after the Marlins got 3 2-out runs off Isaiah Campbell in the 9th Inning. The Sox will go for their 7th sweep of the season and 6th at home Sunday afternoon. -----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello notched his 9th win of the season on Saturday. Bello gave up 2 earned runs on 2 solo Home Runs over 6.1 Innings. He walked no one and struck out 2. Bello retired 8 in a row before allowing a solo Home Run to Troy Johnston in the 5th Inning. Augustin Ramirez hit a Home Run to leadoff the 7th against Bello. The Sox are now 11-10 in Bello's 21 starts this season. Bello has now allowed 2 runs or less in 11 of his game starts this season. ----- Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board in the 1st Inning against Cal Quantrill. Masa Yoshida knocked in a pair of runs with a 2-out Single. In the 3rd, Jarren Duran made it 3-0 with an RBI Double. The next hitter, Trevor Story, made it 6-0 with a 3-run Home Run over the Green Monster in Left. Alex Bregman made it 7-0 with a 2-out Single in the 4th Inning. Bregman's hit broke his 0-for-9 career at the plate against Quantrill. -----At-Bat of the Night: Trevor Story's 3-run Home Run capped a 4-run 3rd Inning for the Sox and made it 6-0. --It was Story's 19th Home Run and his 7th 3-run Home Run of the season.
