The Two Step OptIn is an option available on your Website Pages and Landing Pages in Kajabi. It's a button action that's pretty useful and has applicable use cases. The Two Step OptIn is a pop-up that you can have on your website or landing pages, triggered by a button or a picture. Essentially, any Call To Action can trigger it. Features of the Two Step OptIn The pop-up is relatively small, and while you can't change its size, you can add content to it. By default, it starts with a picture and a form, and you can also add a text box. It's typically used for lead magnets or freebies and works great when you don't have space on your page to put your lead magnet in a specific section. When to Use the Two Step OptIn It's particularly useful when your page design looks better with a button instead of a form, without any extra words attached. You can put a button in, set the button action to Two Step OptIn, and you've got your full messaging in the space of a little button. Consistency Across Pages If you use the Two Step OptIn on a landing page, it's set for that specific page. However, if you use it on a website page, the design will be applicable to all of your website pages, allowing for consistency throughout your site. Creating Funnels Outside the Funnel Space It's important to note that you can recreate all of these funnels outside of the funnel space using landing pages, forms, automations, and checkout pages. This is useful to know because funnels are limited in Kajabi plans. While you can create them in the funnel space, you can also replicate the funnel outside of Kajabi using other tools. Benefits of Using the Funnel Space There are some benefits to using the funnel space: You get different analytics for the funnel, which can be nice (though not amazing).Kajabi lets you see all the pieces of your funnel in its own unique funnel toolbar. While editing a page, the toolbar is on the left, allowing you to bounce between spaces easily. If you're jumping from a landing page to a form, checkout page, or email, it all happens seamlessly in one spot. This saves you from using multiple browser tabs or navigating back and forth between different areas. Visual Representation There's also a visual element that allows you to see your entire funnel at once. It shows you which page comes next, the automations attached to a form, and the email sequence. This visual representation of the funnel is quite useful. Automations and Connections One last benefit of the funnel builder is that all the automations and connections linking one step to the next are already done. This can be particularly useful for people new to Kajabi, as it builds all those connections for you. These connections include actions from the Sales Page button linking to either the Thank You Page or the Checkout Page, and the form subscribing to the email sequence. Additional Automations Even though these automations are pre-built, you may want to add new ones. I always recommend adding a tag automation to all actions someone takes on your site. This way, when you go into your contacts list, you can see what a person has done. Editing Funnel Pages If you go into your pages (website pages or landing pages) and click into one, you'll see "Funnel Pages" across the top in the toolbar. All your funnel pages created using a funnel template are stored there. You can edit them and do various things in that space as well. In conclusion, that's the Funnels area in a nutshell.
