This is a hard topic to discuss, especially with it being so close to home with family. But what I want to set is an example of vulnerability, authenticity, and the truth. It's not always easy to set firm boundaries with people, especially our family members. But the choices we make today will determine our tomorrow. It's not always about us, its about our children and the generations to come. We must take a stand today for a healthier tomorrow. Boundaries are not rejections. They are a form of protection. When we set healthy boundaries, we put up that wall that allows others to respect us. For me, we allow people to trample all over us, but now because of Jesus Christ who is within us, we can stand strong.

Hey everyone! Today I needed quiet time with the Lord to reflect on my heart. I knew something was off with my energy today, so I sat with the Lord and asked Him some questions. It took most of the day, but when I sat down for the third time, I felt a nudge to look at the time. And once again, God used it to help me understand where I needed to forgive and ask for forgiveness. I hope what I share will help someone with their own journey and relationship with Jesus Christ. He is always faithful!

We can look at the Sabbath through the lens of religion, but I am in a relationship with Jesus Christ. To keep the Sabbath holy will mean something different from person to person. I hope what I have learned in my journey of learning in the faith aligns with the church of Christ (His body united). Listen in as I tell my story of why I call the podcast Holy Sabbath Podcast.
