  • Conversations with God
    2022/08/23

Who is that one person you cannot wait to talk to because you know they are going to give you great advice? How would you feel if they poured their heart out to you and then left, never giving you a chance to respond? Well that's what we do with God. We will submit our prayers to Him, and then leave, never stopping long enough to give Him a chance to answer. In this episode we are talking about conversations with God - more importantly hearing God's voice. Every single day we have the opportunity to converse with God and there are many things He wants to tell us. We will talk about what His voice sounds like, the role of the Holy Spirit and what are the key things to do so we don't miss what He has for us.

Scripture Reference: Habakkuk 3:2 James 4:8 John 10:3-5 Questions to Consider:

Next time you pray, take time to listen. Prayer is a two-way conversation.

    • How often do you pray?
    • How would you rate your prayer time?
    • What’s good, and what’s bad about your prayer? Why?
    • What stops you from praying? Why?
    • What stops you from listening to God? Why?
    • How could you make your prayer time a two-way conversation with God?
    • What do you think God is saying to you these days?
