When we hear the word sloth it's typically the animal that comes to mind. But have you thought of it as something that if you engage in keeps you from what God is asking you to do? Sloth goes against not only the very nature of God but puts us in a posture of apathy and giving up.
In this week's episode of the Seven Deadly Sins we will define what the Bible says about sloth and how it is in opposition to the exceedingly abundant life that God has for each one of us.
Slothfulness steals our excitement and joy in the purpose God has for us. We may be able to fool ourselves by thinking that laziness is no big deal, but God isn’t pleased with poor attitudes, careless ways, and shoddy efforts.
