It’s mid July, which for baseball, means it’s the All-Star Break. A great player and coach, Clint Hurdle (@ClintHurdle13) shared this super easy thought for all of us to connect to. “Be a friend. Be a helper. Be kind. That's it.” In fact, I mentioned in today’s episode how I need to reach out to a couple of people - I need to pause this and do that…. There, I feel a bit better reaching out to a few people. This formula is an easy one to follow. For us to look out to make it a part of our interactions with others, but for sure we need to do the same for ourselves too! When I saw this post, it reminded me that courage can be quiet and not always a loud roar, but it also signaled to me that I can be (and need to be) more courageous in my life for sure. This came from The Mindfulness Meditation Institute (@TrainingMindful) where it was shared - “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day, saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’” Sometimes it’s the most courageous thing we can do and it’s probably something that nobody else will realize… but we will.
