    2025/07/18

In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Michael Erath.

Michael talks to us about Essential Strategies for Leaders to Build Elite Teams.

Michael Erath doesn’t just teach entrepreneurs how to build elite organizations—he’s lived it, lost it, and built it back stronger. In his late 20s and early 30s, he scaled a business to a $45 million global enterprise. However, in 2009, the housing market crash and a fraudulent business partner’s actions devastated his success. Flat on his back, with nothing left, he did what real entrepreneurs do—he fought back.

Today, Michael empowers entrepreneurs to build the life they always imagined. A seasoned entrepreneur, Inc. 5000 CEO, and battle-tested business coach, he knows what it takes to break through plateaus, eliminate chaos, and create a company that runs with precision.

Michael’s latest book, Five Obsessions of Elite Organizations, lays out a clear, no-BS blueprint to build something extraordinary. For leaders who refuse to settle—for those who want both a thriving business and a life rich with purpose—Michael and his Five Obsessions Framework deliver the clarity, strategy, and execution to make it happen

Toby talks to us about Mastering Wealth Through Discipline, Not Hype.

Toby Potter is a speaker, entrepreneur, and unflinching truth-teller built from the ashes of rock bottom. After losing everything — money, marriage, purpose — he didn’t rebuild with motivation; he rebuilt with fire. His story isn’t one of easy wins — it’s forged from pain, grit, and relentless discipline.

Today, Toby equips men to reclaim their edge, restore their vision, and build lives they’re proud of. He’s not for the crowd chasing comfort or fake hustle. He speaks to the broken but not done — the ones who still hear the call to rise, lead, and fight for something real.

With a background in real estate, capital raising, and high-stakes negotiation, Toby brings practical strategies wrapped in emotional warfare. His workshops and keynotes fuse tactical wealth-building with raw inner work. Because Toby knows: if the man isn’t built right, the empire will collapse.

He’s coached contractors, entrepreneurs, faith-driven men, and underdog leaders across the country — helping them kill their excuses, sharpen their discipline, and step fully into the fire of their potential. Whether he’s speaking on stage or coaching one-on-one, Toby’s message is simple and searing: comfort is the enemy, and the man you were born to be is on the other side of war.
