What would it take for you to change your life right side up? All it took Zacchaeus was Jesus inviting himself for dinner, creating space for Zacchaeus to see the mess he was living with. This story in Luke 19 reminds us that when you let him, Jesus will transform your life. What would happen if everyone made space for the Light of the World to sit at the dinner table? What might you need to let go so thar your life can be pointed in the direction of Jesus?

Where does your invite list end? Luke 14:15-23 teaches us that Jesus extends his invite to many unexpected guests. Those whom the world counts out are often the very people Jesus welcomes in. How can you imitate Jesus this week, inviting in people outside of your comfort zone?

Why should sinful people be allowed to experience Jesus and his forgiveness? The grace of the cross reminds us that the Good News draws no lines but brings you closer to a life with him! The unnamed woman's story in Luke 7 helps unravel the truth and grateful love found in the grace of Jesus. Hospitality is more than a task; it is a way to show the love of Jesus to those in your life. How might you shift your tables from a place to eat into a place of worship?

Why is being a loving person so hard? The night before Jesus would give his life, he gave the disciples a new covenant confirmed by the cross and a new command to love others, and he loved them. As he washed the feet of the disciples, including the one who would betray him and the one who would deny him, Jesus displayed the full extent of his love. 1 John 4:19 explains, "We love because he loved us first." How are you receiving the love of Jesus so that you may share it with others through your actions? Who might you need to show love to?

Have you ever slipped into a movie after it started and realized you don’t fully understand what’s going on? We sometimes charge through jobs, relationships, and even faith, only to stop and realize a vital piece of the story slipped past us. The believers in Ephesus had the same dilemma—John’s water baptism showed repentance, but only when Paul introduced Jesus’ baptism did the Spirit fill in the rest of the story (Acts 19). Where is Jesus inviting you to discover more about His truth? Let’s discover how Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, can bring the whole picture into focus for your life.
