The world tends to discard what is old or broken. People even neglect relationships rather than repair them. This is not the way of Jesus. Jesus draws near to brokenness, offering restoration and grace. Peter's story of failure and restoration in Luke 22 and John 21 demonstrates Jesus' great love for his people. What would it take for you to change your life right side up? All it took Zacchaeus was Jesus inviting himself for dinner, creating space for Zacchaeus to see the mess he was living with. This story in Luke 19 reminds us that when you let him, Jesus will transform your life. What would happen if everyone made space for the Light of the World to sit at the dinner table? What might you need to let go so thar your life can be pointed in the direction of Jesus?

Where does your invite list end? Luke 14:15-23 teaches us that Jesus extends his invite to many unexpected guests. Those whom the world counts out are often the very people Jesus welcomes in. How can you imitate Jesus this week, inviting in people outside of your comfort zone?
