  • LEARNING TO TAKE UP SPACE UNAPOLOGETICALLY
    2025/07/16

This is your invitation to stop shrinking yourself. There's space for everyone, just don't be an asshole about it. In this episode, the ladies get together to talk about John Proctor Is The Villain, a Broadway play with Stranger Things' Sadie Sink in it. A beautiful ensemble piece garnering 7 Tony Nominations and more. Today's topic was inspired greatly by the young women on stage who stood their ground and owned their power.

For today's Normal or Neurotic Nadya story, she shares hidden truths about the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter, the Carter family and her recent Reddit vigilante moment.

Then, they dive into how women are taught to act from a young age, how our hormonal levels are sometimes just simply out of our control, what it means to take up space, what do some of these tangible and realistic tips look like and how to feel comfortable stepping into the highest version of yourself. Of course, there are chock-full of laughs and personal stories weaved in between all these.

The episode ends with Marie's Munchies on Gnocchi on 9th, a popular grab-and-go spot for fresh gnocchi with your sauce of choice like truffle cacio e pepe, pomodoro, a la vodka and pesto at just $10 per serving, served in a classic Chinese take-away box you'll immediately recognize!

    Thanks for talking!

  • RE-RELEASE: AM I THE RED FLAG?
    2025/07/09

*RE-RELEASE: The ladies reunite after two weeks away from each other. Marie is feeling brand new from her peaceful trip to the countryside and Nadya is excited to catch up. They chat about the Catskills, Marie’s decade in NYC and why IG lets you post 20 photos in a carousel now.

They jump in to this week’s Neurotic or Normal Nadya story where Nadya defended herself from creepy catcallers driving past her in a car. Ladies, stay safe out there.

Then, they discuss this week’s topic of asking yourself if you are the red flag in a relationship or situationship. They point out some obvious red flags such as excessive excuses, guilt tripping, control issues, condescending, negative, and superiority complexes, someone trying to change you, love bombing, lying, not being able to discuss any issue in a relationship without it becoming an awful incident, not accepting any personal responsibility and so much more. Nadya and Marie also dig deep into how they have been red flags in certain situations themselves.

The episode ends with Marie’s Munchies on Matilda, a chic upstate gem that just opened this past Spring from downstate powerhouses - specifically Lower East Side chefs - Jeremiah Stone and Fabián von Hauske Valtierra, plus Dave Arnold from Momofuku Ssam for their cocktail program. The dishes are incredibly creative, exciting, modern and all sourced from local farms. An absolute must-try this Fall and Winter if you are venturing upstate!

  • SEXY IS A MINDSET
    2025/07/02

The ladies are back together. Nadya has been recovering from auto-immune disease flare ups, but hey, at least she has a pool, right? Marie has been out and about- she popped her pickleball cherry. A positive attitude over skill, right? Right??? And last but not least- phone cases. They are an entire relationship in itself. Why is it so hard to choose and commit to one?

This week's Mature or Manic Marie story is one that'll make your skin crawl. She gives an update on the pigeon living underneath her AC and more unwanted tenants she recently just discovered...

Then, the ladies talk about feeling your sexiest this summer and understanding what it means to be confident- even on the days you don't feel or look like your best! Sexy is a mindset and it is a daily practice for us all. Stay for the insights, actionables and personal stories on all things sexy.

The episode ends with Nadya's Nomnoms on a popular cinnamon spot in Hoboken called The Hive. If you're within the US, they ship on Goldbelly too! Yum!

    Thanks for talking!

  • HEART-TO-HEARTS AND HEAT WAVES
    2025/06/26

In this bite-sized solo episode with Marie, she wants you to crank your AC, grab an ice cold drink, sit back and relax listening to some of her thoughts on Oh Mary! on Broadway, the movie Materialists, ice cream shop etiquette and how she feels about asking your server what his/her favorite dish is. Consider all this a salad of Manic or Mature Marie stories.

Then, she dives into some of the things that have been crossing her mind lately on self-love, what it really means, how it really feels, the discomfort that comes with it and the beauty of fully accepting yourself. She also shares reconnecting with someone from her past that helped her practice surrendering her ego and getting in touch with her deepest vulnerabilities. Minding her own business, trying to be less judgmental and limiting her screen time to prevent herself from doomscrolling are also a few things brought up.

Then, the episode ends with Marie's Munchies on a Filipino dessert: Halo-halo. It is a refreshing shaved ice dessert known for its vibrant colors and diverse mix of sweet ingredients like fruits, beans, jellies, sugar palm fruit, and leche flan, often topped with ice cream and evaporated milk/coconut milk. This dessert is often served in a tall clear glass with a long spoon allowing

  • STARTING SUMMER W/ SILLY STORIES, INTROVERTS AND EXTROVERTS
    2025/06/18

It's an extra feel-good go-with-the-summer-flow episode today with Nadya and Marie. An incredible show at the Public Theatre (Goddess) sparks this summer's show etiquette rant from Marie. *Hold for Gen-Z rant.* Spatial awareness, a subway girlhood story, fireworks and animals are some of this week's catch-ups.

This week's Normal or Neurotic Nadya story is about an injured bird and a nest that took two hours to build. New respect for the bird community.

Then, the ladies talk about some ideas they have for the summer and talk about some concerns each one of them have as an introvert and extrovert. Stick around for the silly stories and giggles in between.

The episode ends with Marie's Munchies on a homemade version of a guava cheese empanada. Is it Cuban? Spain? Brazil? The Caribbean? All we know is that it's the perfect snack!

  • EMBRACE THE CRINGE
    2025/06/04

It's our 50th episode! Come for the usual segments, stay for the confidence pep talk in embracing your cringe! The episode opens with catch ups on feeling seen on Reddit, tummy time as a way to reduce tech neck, a reminder not to wait for a “fancier” or more "formal" moment to wear that outfit or accessory this summer, husband energy and more.

This week's Normal or Neurotic Nadya story is about her late-night chase and attempt at rescuing a lost dog on the streets.

Then, they discuss how creating this podcast was a leap of faith in willing to be cringe at first and follow through with their ideas. They talk about how learning to embrace your cringe builds confidence, how it's a stepping stool to success and how the fear of cringe blocks us from success. Embarrassment unites us more than we think and it’s an understated emotion that could use more of our curiosity. They also talk about how to stop caring about what people think, testing ourselves, our relationships with sharing personal and professional highlights on social media.

The episode ends with Marie's Munchies on Balthazar- an NYC institution. Come for the food, stay for the vibes. If you know, you know. And if you don't, it's about time you know!

    Thanks for talking!
