Desire and ambition can be good, but only if they are first centered in appreciation and gratitude.
It’s been said that comparison is a thief. It’s easy to look at someone else’s life from our vantage point and see everything they have that we do not.
What’s harder for many of us is recognizing and remembering the many things we already have, the blessings we take for granted.
When we stop to consider that list, we discover that it’s nearly endless.
We must always remember to be grateful.
