Richard Ashby is a composer and versatile guitarist performing from gypsy folk and jazz, modern jazz guitar, blues and contemporary music styles. The recently released ‘Charlton Road’ is his fourth album.

Richard Ashby has regularly performed on the Sydney scene for several years. Richard has previously performed and recorded two albums “Voyages” and “Spyglass Gypsies” with his gypsy-jazz group the Spyglass Gypsies that had performed at the Many Jazz Festival & the Oz Manouche Festival. The group has also performed at community festivals, music festivals, historical sites, art shows, corporate events, jazz and contemporary music venues, as well as being featured on radio. Richard also performs as Richard Ashby & the Tonewheels a blues, boogaloo and soul-jazz group.
