• Divine Authority Series (Sermon 4): Intercessory Prayer: Shaping Government

    2 Chronicles 36:22–23 | Daniel 6:10 | Jeremiah 25:11–12

🙌 God doesn’t just respond to history—He shapes it through the prayers of His people. From Daniel’s quiet room in Babylon to the heart of King Cyrus, the power of intercession moved governments, shifted timelines, and fulfilled divine promises.

💥 In a time of political tension, corruption, and spiritual decline, Daniel didn’t protest first—he prayed first. His consistent intercession changed the course of nations.

    🔥 This sermon reminded us:

✅ Prayer is not our last resort—it’s our most powerful weapon.

✅ God can stir the hearts of kings, presidents, and prime ministers.

✅ The Church is not called to be silent—we’re called to intercede!

🛐 This week, we don’t just talk about leadership—we pray for it.

Let’s be Daniels in our generation. 🙏🇿🇦

  • God's Divine Authority Sermon Series: God's Justice & Mercy in Leadership - Sermon 3
    2025/07/08

    Send us a text

    📖 2 Samuel 23:2–4 | Romans 13:3–4

This past Sunday, we were reminded that God is not indifferent to leadership. He holds rulers to a higher standard—justice and the fear of the Lord. And when leadership aligns with His heart, it’s like the sun rising after a dark night (2 Sam. 23:4).

But what happens when they don’t?
    📍 God still reigns.
📍 He still calls the Church to be a voice for righteousness.
📍 And He still raises up leaders in His time—for justice, correction, or mercy.

💡 Whether you’re in leadership or under it—this message is a call to intercede, to stand for truth, and to reflect Christ in how we lead and respond to authority.

🕊️ Justice may be rare—but it is still God’s standard.
Let’s be the generation that doesn’t just complain about power but prays, leads, and lives under the authority of Heaven.

  • God’s Divine Authority Sermon Series: God’s purpose in raising up leaders - Sermon 2.
    2025/07/01

    Send us a text

Ever wonder why some leaders rise who seem completely unfit to lead?

You’re not alone. But Scripture gives us a shocking truth:

👑 “The Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone He wishes—even the basest of men.” (Daniel 4:17)

In Sunday’s message, we were reminded that God doesn’t just allow leaders—He appoints them for His purpose:

    🔹 Sometimes to bless.

    🔹 Sometimes to judge.

🔹 Sometimes to humble a nation.

🔹 And always to fulfill His greater plan.

Even the worst rulers can become instruments of His mercy… or candidates for His grace.

    🙏 The Church’s role?

Not just to vote. Not just to critique.

But to intercede, disciple, and lead with Kingdom focus.

🔥 Missed the message? Catch up today. Your perspective on leadership may never be the same.

  • Divine Authority Series (Sermon 1): God's Authority Over Rulers
    2025/06/24

    Send us a text

📖 Romans 13:1–2 | Psalm 75:4–7🌍 Whether it’s presidents, kings, councillors, or CEOs—no one holds power unless God allows it. That was the powerful reminder from this Sunday’s message: God is still on the throne.

🗣️ “There is no authority except from God.”

Even corrupt leaders don’t escape His sovereignty. From Pharaoh to Pilate, from Babylon to modern-day governments—God works through it all for His redemptive purpose.

    🔥 KEY TAKEAWAYS:

    1. All authority is from God. No one sits in power by accident.
    2. Human power is limited. Promotion doesn’t come from politics—it comes from heaven.
    3. True leadership bows to God. Pride leads to a fall, but humility invites grace.👑 Jesus wasn’t overthrown by Pilate. He gave Himself willingly—because even injustice served the greater plan of salvation.

    🙏 Our response?

    • Trust in God’s rule
    • Pray for our leaders
    • Live as citizens of heaven
    • Walk in humility and confidence

📢 Missed the message? Catch the recap or replay and be reminded: no matter who rules on earth—God reigns in heaven.

  • Praying for our Government (Sermon 3): How Prayer Influences Nations.
    2025/06/02

    Send us a text

🌍 How Prayer Influences Nations 🙏
    📖 Scriptures: 1 Timothy 2:1-4 | 1 John 5:14-15 | Revelation 17:14

Last Sunday’s sermon reminded us that God is the ultimate authority over all governments—and that as believers, we are called to pray boldly and specifically for good governance in our nation, South Africa, and beyond.

We learned that prayer isn’t just a ritual; it’s a responsibility. When we align our prayers with God’s will, we can intercede for our leaders, knowing that He hears and answers. It’s not about criticizing from the sidelines, but standing in the gap, just as Jesus does for us.

🛡️ Let’s take up the mantle of prayer and declare that good governance is God’s will. May we pray with conviction, knowing that our prayers shape the future of our families, communities, and our beloved South Africa.

Let’s continue to pray, intercede, and believe for a nation where the gospel can flourish. 🙌

Last week, we were reminded that even when the storms of life seem overwhelming—when the winds are howling, the waves are crashing, and it feels like we’re sinking—Jesus is near.

Like Peter on the water, we may step out in faith only to feel fear when the storm rages. But even when our faith wavers, His hand is there to catch us. Hebrews 7:25 reminds us that Jesus is always interceding for us—He’s praying for you even now.

🔥 Are you in your 4th watch season?

🔥 Feeling like you’re about to sink?

🔥 Remember: His Presence is with you, His Power will sustain you, and your Faith in Him is enough—even when it’s small, because we serve a big God with big grace!

Let’s hold on to Jesus and step into the new week with courage, trusting that you are not sinking—He’s holding you.

  • Praying for our Government (Sermon 2): Good Government is God's Will.
    2025/05/20

    Send us a text

The Bible calls us to pray for those in authority (1 Tim 2:2–4), not just for political peace, but so the Gospel can flourish!

    🛡️ A just and peaceful society is not a luxury—it’s God’s will.
🕊️ When governments uphold righteousness, the people rejoice (Prov 29:2).
🙏🏽 When believers rise to pray, participate, and proclaim Jesus, nations are transformed.

Let’s not be silent spectators. Let’s be a church that:
    🔥 Prays with authority
    👣 Walks in integrity
    🗣️ Proclaims the Gospel boldly
🏡 Builds godly homes and communities

This week, let’s take action. Pray for South Africa. Encourage good governance. Be light in your sphere of influence.

📖 Romans 13:4 – “The one in authority is God’s servant for your good.”

  • Praying for Our Government; A Divine Mandate Series (Sermon 1): The Priority of Prayer in the Church.
    2025/05/13

    Send us a text

From 1 Timothy 2:1–2, we learned that:

📖 Prayer is not just a personal act—it’s a spiritual responsibility.

🛐 We are called to intercede, even for those we disagree with.

🌍 Decisions in government shape the peace and moral direction of our communities.

We’re not just a people who pray—we are a house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7). Let’s not abandon our post!

✨ Let’s keep the fire burning. This week, take time to:

✅ Pray by name for our national and local leaders.

✅ Ask God for wisdom, justice, and peace in our land.

✅ Remember—Jesus prayed for His executioners. We can pray for our leaders.
