There is one fundamental test of love. There is one way of proving whether a person loves the Lord or not. This test is obedience. Those who love the Lord obey Him. All who are disobedient to Him do not love Him. In this book, we present the nine marks of a disciple, an extended excerpt from The Making of Disciples by the author. There was a real increase in numbers of those who were turning away from their sins and becoming new creatures in Christ. Many young people were beginning to receive ministry gifts and to minister in the churches. There was a need for a fresh look at the ministry and the ministers as revealed in the New Covenant.

"Listen! A sower went out to sow, and as he sowed, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it had not much soil, and immediately it sprang up, since it had no depth of soil; and when the sun rose it was scorched, and since it had no root it withered away. Other seed fell among thorns and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain."

This book, Celebrity a Mask, is the last book that Professor Fomum wrote with his own hand, after almost 56 years in the faith and 35 years of ministry both in Cameroon and abroad. Using the example of General Naaman in the Bible who was hiding his leprosy and covering it up with the mask of military success, money, honour, celebrity and the like, the author lays emphasis on the fact that most people wear a mask. In fact, many people hide their condition by wearing the mask of money, women, celebrity, etc., whereas their hearts are rotten with sin.

This audiobook is an attempt to bring the people of God back to a soul-winning, that is, the bringing of the sinner into contact and union with the savior and for evangelism that is again in the power of the Holy Spirit.

This audiobook is for you! The Lord Jesus loves you and wants to heal you! God wants you to be healed and to remain in perfect health. Your diseases are the works of Satan. This book was not written to attack the modern practice of medicine. We thank God for modern medicine and all that it is doing to relieve pain. However, without the touch of God, medicine cannot heal. God is the Healer. Jesus is the Healer. He can work through modern medicine and He can work without medicine. He is not limited. He is God.

Spiritual power is needed today. This power is needed to be like Christ in character and in deed. It is the power of God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This book was born out of prayer. The lord called a few of us aside to pray. Each night, we wrestled in prayer between the hours of 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. This went on for many weeks. We came to find ourselves blessed, challenged, and purified. We came to see the lord in a new way and to understand the purpose of our being in a totally new light. This book was also born out of an experience - an experience of obedience.

Nous avons fait face et nous sommes en train de faire face à des circonstances dans lesquelles notre seul soutien est le Seigneur. Jusque-là Il a été fidèle. Il a été plus que suffisant et Il est plus que suffisant pour notre besoin. Nous aussi nous trouvons que nous sommes plus que vainqueurs par Celui qui nous a aimés.

The Way of Loving the Lord is very different from many of the books in the Christian Way series. It is not an attempt to present the Bible’s position on some aspects of Christian truth. Rather, it is an expression of the yearning, longing - the spiritual emotions of my heart - after the Lord Jesus. I believe that there are some who yearn in an increasing way for the Lord, and in whose hearts the evidence of his soon coming awakens, with each passing day, greater desires to see him - the Hope of the Ages – face-to-face.

These messages that constitute the book, The Way of Spiritual Encouragement, were written while I was away from Cameroon to seek God's face and sort out many things with him. They have been a great blessing to me. I was shocked by what the Lord was saying to me and, by his grace, will say to those he will allow to listen to these messages. My own faith in him grew as I wrote them. I have been deeply comforted to know that God is so good, so loving and so gracious. My desire is to love him more and more.
