Es gelingt, und er berichtet davon (Es freue sich, wer da atmet im rosichten Licht. / Doch der Mensch versuche die Götter nicht…). Die Hybris des Königs, der es ein zweites Mal sehen will und seine Tochter dafür gebe, steckt auch den Jüngling an, und er versucht es abermals, ohne Wiederkehr.
