  • if you want a godly man, raise your standards.
    2024/12/21

if you’re frustrated with the men in your life, it’s time to look at your standards... AND your standards of God. because the truth is, if your view of Him is shallow, your expectations for men will be too.

    what i talk about:
✨ why you can’t expect a man to lead, protect, and honour you if you don’t even know what that looks like in God’s Word
✨ the dangers of settling for “good enough” and why it always leads to frustration
✨ how godly men lead in purity, purpose, and spiritual authority - don’t settle for less
✨ why your own relationship with God sets the tone for the kind of man you’ll accept

    scriptures i mention:

    • proverbs 31:10 – "an excellent wife who can find? she is far more precious than jewels."
    • 2 corinthians 6:14 – "do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers."
    • ephesians 5:25 – "husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her."
    • psalm 37:4 – "delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."
    • matthew 6:33 – "but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness."
    • proverbs 4:23 – "keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life."

if you’re out here settling for men who don’t reflect Christ, you need to pause. your standards of a man will only rise when your intimacy with God deepens. the closer you walk with Him, the clearer you’ll see what you deserve.

  • how to forgive yourself when God already has.
    2024/12/14

so many of us believe in the power of God’s forgiveness but still hold on to shame, guilt, and condemnation.

but that's a life of bondage because we can't truly recognise the gravity of Christ’s sacrifice and the freedom we now have in Him.

    what i talk about:
✨ how unforgiveness of self is a rejection of God’s sovereignty
✨ the difference between conviction and condemnation (and how the enemy uses guilt to keep us trapped)
✨ the Old Testament vs. the new covenant of grace through Jesus
✨ why forgiving yourself isn’t about dismissing sin, but about surrendering it to God
✨ practical steps to release shame and walk in freedom

God’s forgiveness is final, sufficient, and complete. i pray this episode encourages you to embrace His grace fully and let go of the weight you’ve been carrying 💕

    scriptures i mention:

    • romans 8:1 – "there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
    • isaiah 43:18-19 – "remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?"
    • psalm 103:12 – "as far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us."
    • 2 corinthians 5:17 – "therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. the old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
    • hebrews 10:14 – "for by a single offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified."
    • isaiah 53:5 – "but He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed."
    • 1 john 1:9 – "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
    • ephesians 1:7 – "in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace."
    • galatians 5:1 – "for freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery."
    • joel 2:25-26 – "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."

  • your main character syndrome is at war with God
    2024/12/07

main character syndrome... we’ve all been there.

the world tells us to put ourselves first, chase our truth, and make everything about us. but let’s be real: when we make ourselves the centre of the universe, we’re at war with God.

in this episode, i get real about how self-glorification (aka main character syndrome) directly opposes God’s purpose for our lives. i unpack why striving for control, validation, and self-exaltation doesn’t lead to freedom but to bondage.

    what i talk about:
✨ what main character syndrome is and how it wars against God’s authority
✨ why putting yourself above God leads to spiritual emptiness
✨ the dangers of pride and self-glorification (spoiler: it never ends well)
✨ how to let go of control, surrender daily, and trust God fully
✨ the freedom, peace, and joy that come from living a life centred on Christ

    scriptures i mention:

    • john 3:30 – "He must become greater; i must become less."
    • matthew 6:33 – "but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
    • proverbs 16:18 – "pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall."
    • luke 9:23 – "if anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."
    • philippians 2:3-4 – "do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

  • you will never have faith without relationship.
    2024/11/29

faith without relationship? it doesn’t work.

today i'm talking about why true faith is rooted in a deep relationship with God and not in striving for spiritual achievements or trying to “will” ourselves into faith.

    what i talk about:

    • why faith begins with knowing who God is, not striving to believe harder
    • how our relationship with God transforms our trust in Him
    • the importance of going back to the basics of the Gospel to build solid faith
    • how reading and reflecting on the Word helps us understand God’s character

i also am open and honest about my personal journey of learning to trust God in difficult seasons.

faith isn’t something we conjure up... it grows from spending time with the One who is faithful. when you stop striving and start trusting, you’ll discover the boldness, confidence, and peace that comes from truly knowing God.

i pray this episode encourages you to lean into your relationship with God, reflect on His Word, and let Him grow your faith 💕

  • why aren't you doing the thing God called you to do?
    2024/11/16

that thing God called you to do—why haven’t you started it yet?

if you’ve been feeling convicted about putting off what you know He’s asked of you, i get it - but i'm encouraging you to not drown in excuses

    what i talk about:

    • why we make excuses for not acting on God’s calling
    • how we often prioritise comfort and logic over obedience
    • the reality of surrendering to God’s plans, even when they’re inconvenient
    • trusting His timing and leading, even in small steps
    • scriptures that remind us of our purpose and God’s desire for our obedience

it’s time to stop overthinking and start moving in faith. God’s calling is intentional, loving, and full of purpose, but it requires us to step out, trust, and act.

i pray this episode encourages you to listen to His voice, set aside the excuses, and pursue what He’s put on your heart.

you are SO purposeful. in fact God created you on purpose, for a purpose. so you’ve got this, and God’s with you every step of the way.

  • americans - your divide about politics is not biblical.
    2024/11/09

homegirls... this week i am hurt.

this episode dives into a topic that’s been weighing on my heart and i feel like it would be wrong to ignore: politics. particularly american politics.

the recent election has stirred strong opinions - fine. it's opened people's eyes to their opinions - fine. but what it's also done is that it's caused anger and divide within not just the world but the body of Christ.

it’s easy to let political preferences create division where there should be unity. but here's the truth – the divide we see isn't biblical.

    what i talk about:

    • why no political figure or party should be placed above Jesus
    • how idolatry can creep in when we let politics consume us
    • why unity in the body of Christ matters more than winning an argument
    • how to navigate political differences with understanding and love

as believers, we need to lead with love, compassion, and the reminder that our faith binds us more than any political stance.

let’s learn to listen, understand, and keep our eyes on the One who is above it all. i pray this episode helps you reflect, reset, and put unity in the body of Christ first 💕

  • why don't you have christian friends?
    2024/11/02

so many of us want christian friends, but when we look around, we’re either alone or surrounded by friends who aren't following God.

this episode dives into the real reasons behind that, from where we’re spending our time to how open we are to finding and keeping those god-centered friendships.

    what i talk about:

    • the importance of community in faith and why christian friendships matter
    • how building christian friendships goes beyond just attending church
    • the impact of being around people who challenge and sharpen us spiritually
    • personal experiences of finding friends who are different from me but who help me grow closer to Jesus

true friendships aren’t about perfection but are built on the promises of God and a true reflection of His desire for us to be in community. i pray this convicts you and gives you a good perspective on moving forward 💕
