Day 1 - Introduction to the Class - “Pray for Workers”

Welcome to the daily Devotionals where we will post daily scriptures and questions and challenges. This is also a place to ask questions - especially “dumb” or “embarrassing” questions that we don’t usually like to ask in large auditoriums.
Here is our first verse to start this class with because it seems so fitting. To know Jesus is to also know what He wanted and what He prayed and what He did etc…
Jesus said these words:
“And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
Luke 10:2 ESV
As we begin this year long 2025 class, we have got to start by praying to God, the Lord of the harvest, to send out laborers.
Pray for laborers!
That’s us guys. We are either the harvest or we are the laborers, but we are in that mix somewhere.
The starting question is “which am I right now?”
Are you the harvest that God has prepared?
Or are you the laborers that Jesus is praying for?
Spend some time in prayer and honest self reflection on these questions - let God search your heart and then let Him lead you in 2025 and your future.
