  • E18: I lost my Instagram Account — and It Changed How I Run My Business Forever
    2025/06/18

FOLLOW MY NEW INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT @dinabusinesscoach.

What happens when your biggest platform vanishes overnight? What do you do if the account you've been growing for years suddenly closes?

In this raw and real episode, I peel back the curtain on the emotional and strategic aftermath of losing my Instagram account over the weekend—and how it became the catalyst for deeper freedom, smarter systems, and a more soul-aligned approach to my business.

Gonna be honest: I spent a good part of the weekend crying and letting out my anger. But then something magical happened as I realized that this was an opportunity to reclaim agency when the rug is pulled from beneath you. In this episode I share how losing something I considered the foundation for my financial growth helped me re-align my strategies to my purpose, joy, and goals.

    Inside this episode, I cover:
✨ Why your Instagram is not your business—and never should be
✨ The emotional reality of losing your account (grief, rage, confusion—and clarity)
✨ WHY I lost my Instagram account and the exact steps I took to ensure my new account isn't getting marked down (I don't mention the word, but we are talking about shadowbans, because boy, have I found some dirt!)
✨ How I use this 'loss' as an opportunity to lean further into my business purpose, even in how I write my content.
✨ A big reminder to build out your email list, not rely on Instagram, and give yourself permission to step away from strategy in the name of integrity.
✨ How authenticity and emotional truth can become your most powerful strategy

This isn’t a how-to on getting your account back. It’s a manifesto on building an untethered business that can weather storms, shift gears, and grow—no matter what.

    2025/06/10

What if writing your story could become a tool for healing—and a path to reclaiming your voice?

In this episode of Your Business: Untethered, I’m joined by Nicole Gulotta to talk about the raw, liberating magic of creative nonfiction. We dive deep into how personal storytelling can become a powerful tool for transformation—especially for those of us holding trauma, navigating identity, and craving authenticity.

This isn’t about being a perfect writer. It’s about telling the truth. Writing to understand yourself. And using your narrative as a way to come home to who you really are.

    Inside this episode, we cover:
✨ Why creative nonfiction is a tool for deep healing and personal growth
✨ How trauma can shape our stories—and how writing can help us process it
✨ What it really means to write authentically and publish courageously
✨ The difference between performance and presence in storytelling
✨ The messy, beautiful, empowering journey of engaging with your own narrative

Nicole also shares the story behind Bloom Letters—her latest collection—and invites you into your own creative practice through short-form writing and reflective storytelling.

This episode isn’t just for writers. It’s for anyone who’s been through something, held it close for too long, and is finally ready to make meaning, not just noise.

What does it really take to scale your business—without abandoning your mission, values, or actual freedom?

In this episode of Your Business: Untethered, I sit down with seasoned entrepreneur and business strategist Lisza Crisalle to explore the human side of scaling. Lisza brings decades of insight into business cycles, mentorship, and the real inner work behind consistent sales and scalable offers. Whether you're scaling to make space for travel, healing, or simply more you-time—this episode is your permission slip to do it on your terms.

    Inside the episode, we cover:
✨ What you need in place before scaling
✨ The mindset blocks keeping you stuck in 1:1 burnout
✨ Why AI is helpful, but human connection still sells
✨ How to navigate business cycles with clarity and calm
✨ Why money is neither good nor bad—it just shows you who you are
✨ The truth about freedom in business: it requires intention and systems
✨ How healing your past directly impacts your sales and structure
