In addition to the wildlife, Ed takes it upon himself to look around some of our more popular swimming holes so he can retrieve glass and other hazards.     Their helmets were folded flat when not used and had no face mask. The High School football players in 1948 also had no mouth guards. Their home field is located in one of the most brutal climates in the State of Michigan. The Munising Mustangs 1948 team is remembered by the actual players. You had to be tough to play and they were the best. It was their most sincere wish to have this recording be somehow shared with the generations to follow. Somehow, a cassette tape was found and we digitized it to find this very rare recording. Following the wishes of these players, please share and keep the Munising Mustang Spirit alive with High School Football programs everywhere.

    When traveling or relocating to the Counties of Marinette, WI and Menominee, MI, WIMIRoadTrip will give you the places to go and some people to know. Fincantieri Marinette Marine, Johnson Controls, Waupaca Foundry, LE Jones and Caterpillar are some of the Corporations bringing people to our area. Others road trip here and end up relocating. Much like Menominee’s Henes Park, which was gifted for Families to enjoy the outdoors, WIMIRoadTrip was created to provide some direction to our new guests delivered by life-long resident, Patrick Burley. Patrick (also known as “djBIG”) spent the previous 30yrs performing as National DJ, based out of Menominee, MI. Following providing entertainment for 1000+ weddings and equal years supporting community events, Patrick will give you VIP introductions and access to current information and activities.

    This episode will lay the ground work for our Podcast, including content road-map and party planner for 2023.
