My seventh year in the classroom came to an end at Sam Houston High School this year. I have heard people say that the grass is greener on the other side; I realized that that isn't true. Sam Houston was cool and interactions with some student reminded of how dope of an educator I am and also how good I have it at Waltrip! In the seventh year of my career, I say that understanding that all my creative ventures have a 50/50 chance of coming to reality; I had my second child, the class of 2025 won district in basketball, I had 16 students get mastery on the Math STAAR exam and I realized that maybe I am a career educator! I learned Loyalty this year, I learned structure, I learned repetition! Aside from being a Husband, Father, educator and coach; I want to get back in shape and thanks to the Golden State Warriors I will back in front of the lens soon!
