Here’s our big August in Action theme show on What’s New to Netflix, where it’s all about explosions, car chases, shoot-outs, and the destruction of public property, but not before we talk about all the new stuff heading to Netflix this month as well.

Then Jerry Seinfeld stars and directs this somewhat true story of how the Pop-Tart was invented in Unfrosted from 2024. Next, Shia LaBeouf befriends a runaway as they go on an unpredictable journey together in The Peanut Butter Falcon from 2019. And last, Jennifer Lopez has to fight a rogue AI while overcoming her own fears and trusting an unlikely ally in Atlas from 2024.

All of this plus early 2000s nostalgia, movies stealing the plot from Addams Family Values, sexual healing, Ultraman, magical schools, twin cinema, mid-‘90s nostalgia, finding out who “the Mole” is, and owning all of Manhattan.
