Welcome to Season 3 of the Global Architect Alliance (GAA).
This season we are asking the question...."What is it like to practice architecture in your country?"
We will be focusing on many different architects in countries across the globe to understand what are the similarities and differences you face when practicing architecture in your country.
In our 3rd Episode of Season 3 we are joined by Ramiz Baig of Ramiz Baig Design an architect who lives and practices architecture in Karachi, Pakistan. Ramiz is also Chapter Chair at Institute of Architects, Pakistan - IAP and teaches part-time at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. Ramiz is also a board member at Indus Valley school and has been involved in Architects Regional Council Asia, ARCASIA .
In this episode we discuss culture, sustainability, pay, software, frustrations & challenges, long working hours, contracts and explore what it is really like to practice architecture in Karachi.
