Welcome back To the Table. In our last episode, we talked about suffering. It’s inevitable, unfortunately, but God promises to work out all our mess for his glory. We may not see the “worked out” end, but He promises, and we know He’s faithful. So what do we do now? How do we move forward? How do we love and encourage those around us who are suffering? Isaiah 41:10 – fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed,for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Ps. 40:1-3 – I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.

Proverbs 4:23 – Keep your heart with all vigilance, for fromit flow the springs of life.

Ps 119:11 – I have stored up your word in my heart, thatI might not sin against you.

John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give toyou. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

John 16:33 – I have said these things to you, that inme you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Hebrews 5:7-8 - In the days of his flesh, Jesus offeredup prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered.
