Exodus 28:6–43 outlines God’s design for the garments worn by the priests—symbolic clothing that reflected their calling and responsibility. Each piece—the ephod, breastplate, robe, and turban—carried spiritual significance, reminding the priests that they represented the people before God and were set apart for sacred service. These garments also point forward to the Christian life, where believers are called to “put on” new attitudes, actions, and love. Just as the priest’s clothing reflected their role, our lives are to reflect Christ in what we carry, how we pray, and how we love others.

When you gave your life to Jesus, everything changed—you came under new management. In Romans 8:14–27, Paul explains that we’re now led by the Spirit, called into maturity, and given both privileges and responsibilities as God's children. Growth won’t be easy—creation groans, we groan, and even the Spirit groans with us. But in every struggle, God is working something greater. We're reminded that we’re not stuck in the old way of living—we’ve been adopted, empowered, and set on a new path.

The Christian life is like learning to walk—it’s a process of growing in grace. In Romans 8:1–13, Paul reminds us that we are no longer condemned and no longer controlled by sin. Through Jesus, we’ve been set free, and now we’re called to live like it—step by step, in the Spirit. May God help you to recognize the difference between the old life and the new, and encourage you to walk with confidence, knowing He is shaping you with every step.

That same purpose continues today through pastors and disciple-makers who walk with others in trial and growth. God doesn’t leave us to figure things out alone—He gives us helping hands to lead us back to grace, truth, and hope.
