Our greatest uncertainty is across our western and northwestern counties where snowfall accumulations may be lighter than forecasted. Confidence in the forecast is highest north of the Metroplex near the Red River.

    Storms Possible Today

    A cold front will move slowly south through the region today (Monday). The arrival of the front will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few strong storms will be possible with gusty winds and small hail. The front will move into Central Texas tonight and stall with additional showers and storms likely. It will be warm today with highs from the upper 60s to the middle 70s. Lows tonight will be cooler, ranging from the lower 40s across the northwest to the upper 50s in the southeast.
