  • 01 Why we started Carrick-Athena
    2025/07/10
Hello. I wanted to tell you why we started Carrick Athena, and actually why Athena?

She's a powerful lady. She's the Greek goddess of war. She's power. She's capable. She's assertive. And she knows what she has within her.

And I think that that really speaks to what we were hoping to create, to show women what they carry within them, to amplify it, to help women action it, to build wealth, to build legacy, and to show them that they are the wealth that they're waiting for.

So yes, to talk about finance, but to make it personal to each and every one of you. And yes, to talk about finance, but to make it powerful and give you the pen to write your own story. Managing money during life's major shifts isn't really that intuitive, especially when the world of finance hasn't really catered for women and money.

An odd thing, we've been around both of us for quite a long time. Anyway, we aren't stepping in to fix this, but rather reframe it, making your financial empowerment just a source of pride and not one of pressure.
