"We Forgot that You Were Here...."

  • サマリー

  • Matt begins the pod by talking about his trip to see AFC Croydon take on the mighty Ashford United. As he explains, while the Rams got the win, the Green and White Army's fans, especially their young contingent, created a fun atmosphere and out sung the Croydon supporters for most of the match. Listen out for the clips from the match and, as we recorded so many, you will not doubt hear the drums and vocals of the Ashford fans in future editions of the show!

Nick couldn't attend the Rams 2-1 victory over the Green and White Army as he has been laid low with a cold and, to his credit, Nick continued to battle through this episode despite feeling under the weather. To rub it in, this episode also saw another rare victory from Team Pod but, as Matt knows, his younger sibling will no doubt come back stronger with a better performance in game week 28.

Matt reviews his game week 27 and talks about his plans ahead whilst referring to the FML FPL podcast and the brothers also discuss the fallout of last weekend's FA Cup fixtures and how this could adversely affect Crystal Palace, Wolves and the plans of millions of FPL players.

Finally, with Matt thinking that last week's episode was a bit like the tetchy atmosphere of The Beatles' Let it Be sessions, he suggests that they use over-dubs to successfully record the FPL Pod VS Tok catch phrase. However, despite feeling absolutely rough, Nick wants to do it the traditional way. The lads also compare their patchy efforts at saying their tag-line to Southampton's difficult return to the top-flight since their promotion last season.

We'd also like to wish, to all those who celebrate, Ramadan Mubarak!
