The Charlotte Hornets have learned quickly that you don’t give a kid a toy and then take it away. The NBA team is apologizing for dropping the ball during an on-the-court giveaway when Charlotte's mascot gave a child a Playstation Five during a break in play at the Spectrum Centre Monday night. A friend later posted on social media that the gaming console was taken away when the cameras turned off and the kid was given a jersey instead. Apparently there was a big miscommunication about the “stunt.” After a bunch of backlash, the organization issued an apology yesterday, saying the PS5 would be given to the kiddo and they'll also give him a VIP experience to a game. That’s exactly what we don’t need, Gronk recruiting kids in college football. Police in upstate South Carolina are announcing a very high-profile arrest. Pickens PD says the furry, green suspect is tied to several burglaries that involved missing Christmas trees and gifts. He was spotted on surveillance footage, dressed as the Grinch in a Santa suit. PPD arrested the crook this week after a short pursuit. He was identified as "The Grinch." PPD says the bandit was charged with first-degree stealing Christmas and third-degree onion breath.
