Tubbs goes under as Cooper to try and see if he can jog his memory as Carrera fights with his son and his rival, El Gato - the brother of the recently departed Manolo from Mirror Image.     This week on Miami Vice: Sonny goes back undercover to get closer to two bigwigs: Manolo and Gutierrez - against Tubb's wishes and ends up in an explosion. He survives (not to Vice's knowledge) but, has amnesia and now believes that he is his alter ego, Sonny Burnett. As he gets deeper into this new world, Tubbs is digging deeper into Manolo and Gutierrez (Antonio Fargas!) to figure out what really happened on that boat with help from the Ft. Lauderdale precinct. The same precinct that's trying to track down an internal leak to Gutierrez! What a season finale. Did I mentioned Julia Roberts?
