  • 34. Two Years Postpartum: What We Wish Moms Knew
    2025/07/23

They say the postpartum period lasts six weeks… but any mom who’s been through it knows that’s not the whole story. In this raw and reflective episode of The Vibrantly You® Podcast, Megan and Caitlin sit down for an honest conversation about what it’s really like two years postpartum.

We’re talking about the messy middle: identity shifts, hormonal chaos, mental health challenges, and the slow return to feeling like you again.

    Inside this episode, we share:

    • What perinatal mood disorders showed up for us
    • Why it’s completely normal to not feel “back to yourself” for 18–24 months (or longer)
    • The role of hormones and nutrition in postpartum recovery
    • Why the 2-year mark often brings more clarity, stability, and strength
    • How we learned to redefine postpartum healing as a long-game process

If you’ve ever wondered, “Shouldn’t I be past this by now?”—this one’s for you.

Tune in for validation, real talk, and a reminder that healing isn’t linear—and you’re not alone.
