Good Morning, Happy New Year! As joined by co-hosts Randall Rissing, King Derby, and Lunmus Baptist, welcome to the sixth edition/episode of VI Envision. This show is centered on various topics of pressing issues faced by members of the community and the overall outlook on resolving our problems to improve conditions within our home. We will feature special guests, such as our sponsors and others working in collaboration with Senator Whitaker and the team on various projects.

My deepest condolences to my colleague, Dr. Suzanne Darrow-Magras, for the passage of her daughter Jade Sunshine Barber. To all those who lost a loved one in the month of December and into this past week, my condolences. On a positive note, Happy Birthday to those who celebrated a birthday this past month of December, including team members Marjorie, Muffy, and Thomas. Happy Birthday, blessings, continued health, and strength!

**December Activities & Constituent Matters:**

As a member of the CTE Board, we held our annual strategic planning retreat to execute our 2024 programs and initiatives. I will announce an exciting event we are planning this year in the coming shows. On 12.19.23, we attended the St. Croix Foundation 2023 Kids Count Databook Meeting, followed by a Public Services Commission meeting during the day on 12.20.23, followed by WAPA’s Business Townhall in the evening at Rotary West.
