  • Romans Verse By Verse 11b) Did Jesus Have to Have Faith? | Rightly Divide The Word of Truth | Mid-Acts
    2024/09/17
👉 Scripture References Below. *Released on WTTR App 9/10/24 For Mid-Acts teachings and songs of grace, download our FREE App here: https://www.TruthTimeRadio.com/wttr Let us help you Rightly Divide the word of truth according to the dispensation of the grace of God, and watch the confusion disappear and the scriptures come alive! In our previous episode, we looked at the remaining context from verses 20-22 in chapter 3. We examined how verse 21 lines up perfectly with the "from faith to faith" of Romans 1:17, and how verse 22, an often used verse to claim "Jesus had to have faith." Today, using context and consistency we will continue to make our case by showing how the "faith of Christ" verses in Romans 3 and Galatians 2 and 3 consistently line up with the "from faith to faith" of Romans 1:17. We submit that "from faith to faith" means from... ●Law to Grace ●Prophecy to Mystery ●Time Past to But Now ●Faith of God to Faith of Christ Today we will discover: ●How does "from faith to faith" relate to the context Galatians chapters 2 & 3? ●What does the "faith of Christ" have to do with Peter in Galatians 2? ●Does Jesus need to "believe God" to be counted righteous like Abraham did? ●What does "living life according to the faith of the Son of God" look like? ●Just what does "Jesus needing to have faith" have to do with the Promise spoken of in Galatians 3? IN THIS SERIES: ●We will see who Paul was talking to and why. ●Why Paul's mention of the "day of wrath" in Romans 2 makes perfect sense in the context. ●We examine who is being spoken about regarding the "remission of sins." ●Look at some things that Paul struggled with in the flesh concerning the law and why he's even talking about the law in the first place. ●Identify where the false doctrine of Sonship Edification puts its roots in Romans 8. ●Look at some verses that Universalists use to support their false "salvation of all" claim. ●Find out what the "faith of Christ" is and what it isn't. ●We will see whether or not Gentiles are "grafted into" that Olive Tree in Chapter 11. ●Go over what we are to be "fully persuaded in our own minds" about when we go through our instructions for living life after salvation. ●Learn more about how and why Gentiles were never under the law. ●Look at how prayer works and how it doesn't work today. ●Look at today's practical application compared to how Paul addresses the Jews in the flesh in this letter. ●Go over the fact that no one outside of Paul's "dispensation of grace" enjoyed eternal security, nor were they saved by grace through faith ALONE, without works. ●Find out the who, how, and why of "marking" others. ●And we'll tie it all up with the Revelation of the Mystery which was kept secret since the world began. 👉 Our complete Romans Study Playlist: • Romans | Mid-Acts Bible Study 👉For your convenience, our complete Faith of Christ series will be saved to a separate playlist. • The Faith of Christ is What We Believ... • 5) Forgiven 👉AT👈 The Cross According to Paul's Gospel | Rightly Dividing The Word of Truth
    2024/09/13

This podcast was first published on the WTTR mobile App June 30, 2024. For Mid-Acts teachings and songs of grace, download our FREE App here: https://www.TruthTimeRadio.com/wttr Let us help you Rightly Divide the word of truth according to the dispensation of the grace of God, and watch the confusion disappear and the scriptures come alive! This is Objection #5 in the series, "Forgiven At The Cross: Every Objection Answered." We will go through every objection put forth by Limited Forgivers in their attempts to oppose forgiveness at the cross. God didn't need anyone's permission, or mental assent to forgive the world based on the atonement of Jesus Christ. In this fifth installment, we will address the claim from a 'grace' pastor that: "People go to Hell to pay for their sins." We will address a single objection in each installment. Some are based on verses found in scripture, some are based on illogical conclusions, and others are not based in any kind of reality at all (strawmen.) Each one of these installments will be transcribed and listed as blog entries at our website: https://truthtimeradio.com/blog Like us on Facebook @ / truthtimeradio Visit https://TruthTimeRadio.com to subscribe to our Podcast & Blog. • Romans Verse By Verse Part 11a) Did Jesus Have to Have Faith? | Rightly Divide The Word of Truth | Mid-Acts Dispensationalism
    2024/09/13
👉 Scripture References Below. *Released on WTTR App 9/4/24 For Mid-Acts teachings and songs of grace, download our FREE App here: https://www.TruthTimeRadio.com/wttr Let us help you Rightly Divide the word of truth according to the dispensation of the grace of God, and watch the confusion disappear and the scriptures come alive! In our previous episode, we talked about the usage of the phrase "God forbid" in Paul's epistles. "God forbid" means exactly what it says. We also looked further at how the unrighteousness of man actually proves the righteousness of God. And how Paul made his point, in a nutshell, concerning what he has been talking about since the very beginning of this letter. Today, we will look at the remaining context from verses 20-22 in chapter 3. We will examine how verse 21 lines up perfectly with the "from faith to faith" of Romans 1:17. Staying within the parameter of the context, we will park for a little while at verse 22, and often used verse to claim "Jesus had to have faith." As promised, we are going to spend as much time as needed here. This episode is only the beginning, and an introduction (of sorts) to the topic of "the faith of Christ." ●What does "from faith to faith" mean pertaining to the context of this letter so far? ●Why didn't God need faith? (recap) ●Is "faith of Christ" the same as "faithfulness of Christ?" ●Does faithfulness require faith? ●Just what IS the "faith of Christ" that Paul speaks of?
