In 1965 14-year-old Mary Ellen Deener was murdered in Mansfield, Ohio. Her killer, Lester Eubanks, was convicted and sentenced to death — but Just years later, he escaped during a prison outing and vanished. Decades later, he remains one of the U.S. Marshals’ most wanted fugitives. This video covers Mary Ellen’s story, the crime, Eubanks’s escape, and where the case stands today.
