Brittany Gosney - Mother Confesses to Killing 6-Year Old - Police Interrogation Mother’s confession: How detectives solved 6-year-old boy’s murder BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) - The case of 6-year-old James Hutchinson went from missing child to a murder mystery one February day. Detectives unraveled the story his mother and her boyfriend told, and within a few hours, the two confessed to what happened. On Feb. 28, Brittany Gosney, 29, and her 42-year-old boyfriend, James Hamilton, walked into the Middletown Police Department to report Gosney’s son as missing. Detective John Hoover questioned Gosney about the time frame of events, saying something just did not make sense. “I’m a little confused that the baby [Hutchinson] has been missing since 4:30ish, we’ll say, and we don’t get the call until after 10 a.m. That’s peculiar to me,” Hoover asked Gosney. “Do you understand why?” Middletown Police Chief David Birk said in the first press conference following the arrests of Gosney and Hamilton something seemed off when the two came to police. “From the beginning, it was just suspicious, and it just wasn’t a normal case that we see on a regular basis,” Chief Birk recalled. “You know, when you have a missing child, again, you call 911.” The training and experience of the detectives allowed them to find the holes in Gosney’s and Hamilton’s stories. Throughout the three-hour interrogation, detectives bounced back and forth between rooms, disassembling the story built on a foundation of lies, brick by brick. “When we had them separated, they never had contact again from the beginning,” Chief Birk explained. “And then, once we pulled the layers of lies off and they came up with the exact same story from beginning to end and their time frame started lining up better, that’s when you know you’re getting to the truth. And their stories by the end of the interviews, their stories were identical.” As the interview went on, Gosney admitted to killing Hutchinson according to the sheriff’s report. She tells the detectives she and Hamilton went to the Ohio River where they dropped Hutchinson’s body. • Serial Killer Todd Kohlhepp Full Length Police Interrogation
    2025/01/25
Serial Killer Todd Kohlhepp Full Length Police Interrogation Todd Kohlhepp's full-length police interrogation provides chilling insight into the mind of a serial killer. Kohlhepp, a South Carolina real estate agent, was arrested in 2016 after police discovered a missing woman, Kala Brown, chained in a shipping container on his property. This discovery led to a confession linking Kohlhepp to multiple murders and a string of violent crimes. Here’s an overview of his interrogation and key details from the case:Key Details from Todd Kohlhepp’s Interrogation1. Discovery and Arrest Police arrested Kohlhepp after Kala Brown, missing since August 2016, was rescued from a locked shipping container on his rural property in Woodruff, South Carolina. Brown informed investigators that Kohlhepp had murdered her boyfriend, Charlie Carver, and held her captive. 2. Cold and Calm Demeanor During the interrogation, Kohlhepp displayed a disturbing lack of remorse, calmly discussing his crimes as if they were ordinary events. His casual attitude about the murders shocked investigators, particularly given the brutal details he revealed. 3. Confession to the Superbike Murders Kohlhepp confessed to the 2003 Superbike Motorsports quadruple homicide, a cold case that had baffled authorities for over a decade. He explained that he had been humiliated by the shop’s employees when trying to return a motorcycle, prompting him to return with a gun and kill four people. Victims: Scott Ponder, Brian Lucas, Chris Sherbert, and Beverly Guy. 4. Admission of Other Murders In addition to the Superbike killings, Kohlhepp admitted to murdering Meagan and Johnny Coxie, a couple he hired for odd jobs. He claimed they “disrespected” him and killed them on his property. Both were shot, and their bodies were buried on his land. 5. Detailed Descriptions Kohlhepp provided graphic details about his crimes, including how he lured victims to his property, killed them, and disposed of their bodies. He spoke matter-of-factly about his methods, often blaming the victims for their deaths, claiming they “pushed him too far.” 6. Lack of Remorse Kohlhepp showed no empathy for his victims or their families during the interrogation. He expressed concern only for how the media would portray him, saying he didn’t want to be compared to other serial killers. 7. Parallels to His Past Investigators noted parallels between Kohlhepp’s adult crimes and his violent past. As a teenager, he was convicted of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Arizona, for which he served 15 years in prison. Despite his criminal record, Kohlhepp managed to build a successful real estate business, hiding his dark side from those around him. Legal Outcomes Kohlhepp was charged with seven counts of murder, along with kidnapping and weapons charges. In 2017, he pleaded guilty to all charges to avoid the death penalty and was sentenced to seven consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. Public Reaction The case garnered national attention, with the shipping container discovery and Kohlhepp’s confessions horrifying the public. His ability to lead a double life as a respected businessman while committing heinous crimes raised questions about how he avoided suspicion for so long. Todd Kohlhepp, full police interrogation, Superbike murders, serial killer confession, Kala Brown, Charlie Carver, Meagan and Johnny Coxie, South Carolina murders, real estate killer, chilling demeanor, shipping container discovery, quadruple homicide, buried bodies, lack of remorse, high-profile criminal case, cold-blooded killer, graphic confessions, double life.

  • Dylann Roof Full Police Interrogation
    2025/01/25
Dylann Roof Full Police Interrogation Dylann Roof's full interrogation refers to the police interview conducted after his arrest for the horrific 2015 mass shooting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. This shooting, which claimed the lives of nine African American worshippers during a Bible study session, was racially motivated and deeply shocking to the nation. Here are key details and insights from Roof’s interrogation:1. Arrest and Context Location of Arrest: Roof was apprehended in Shelby, North Carolina, a day after the shooting, following a nationwide manhunt. Calm Demeanor: Notably, Roof appeared emotionless and calm during both his arrest and subsequent interrogation. 2. Initial Questions and Cooperation Roof cooperated with law enforcement and waived his Miranda rights, agreeing to speak with investigators. He openly admitted to the crime and provided details about his planning and motivations. 3. Stated Motive Roof explicitly said that the attack was racially motivated, claiming he wanted to start a "race war." He confessed that he specifically targeted Emanuel AME Church because of its historic significance in the African American community. 4. Lack of Remorse Roof showed no remorse during the interrogation. He calmly explained his actions and reasoning, which was deeply rooted in white supremacist ideology. His matter-of-fact demeanor during these admissions made the interrogation particularly chilling. 5. Planning the Attack Roof described how he researched online for targets, specifically looking for locations where he could cause maximum impact on African Americans. He admitted to using a .45-caliber Glock pistol he purchased legally, despite having a criminal record that should have prevented the sale (due to a failure in the federal background check system). 6. Racist Ideology Roof's statements were filled with racist rhetoric, echoing the white supremacist manifesto he had posted online before the attack. He referenced skewed historical views, misinformation about race, and extremist propaganda that influenced his worldview. 7. Details of the Shooting Roof described the sequence of events during the attack, including how he attended the Bible study for nearly an hour before opening fire. He claimed he almost abandoned his plan because the church members were so welcoming and kind but ultimately carried out the massacre. 8. Emotional Detachment Throughout the interrogation, Roof displayed a complete lack of empathy for his victims, referring to them in dehumanizing terms. Investigators noted that his lack of emotion was striking and unsettling. 9. Evidence Corroboration Roof’s statements during the interrogation matched evidence collected from the scene, including the firearm, shell casings, and eyewitness accounts. His manifesto and online activity further solidified the racial hatred driving his actions. 10. Outcome and Trial The interrogation played a significant role in Roof's trial, showcasing his premeditation and lack of remorse.
