気だるい雰囲気の中で進行する謎と陰謀。ハマります。制作の7 Lambプロダクションにも要注目

母の死をきっかけに、生活を一変させたいと思ったライター志望のマイクは、ワイオミング州の広大な森林公園に立つ4番棟の上の小屋で火災を見張る仕事を始めます。携帯の電波も届かず、唯一の話し相手は無線で交信できる3番棟の女性アンバーのみ。社会から隔絶された環境の中で、小説の執筆に専念します。大自然の中で、バケーション代わりの退屈な毎日かと思いきや、初日から奇妙な出来事が続きます。やがて大きな謎が。。。

カテゴリーとしては、ミステリーやサスペンス小説ですが、主人公の置かれた環境の特殊さと、何とも気だるい音楽が流れるアンニュイな雰囲気が個人的にはとても好きです。レビュー時点で話が完結していないので、一気に聴きたい方には向きませんが、まずは1話目を聴いてみてください。その雰囲気に、はまったらお薦めです。新エピソードがアップされるのに時間がかかるので、話の流れを追いにくいし、待つのにイライラしますが、それでもフォローして聴いています。

ちなみに、本ポッドキャストを制作している7 Lambプロダクションは、他にも良い作品を出しているので注目です。
