Voters in the city of Dallas will decide on several amendments, but three in particular have drawn attention from elected officials past and present. Propositions S, T, and U on the ballot in Dallas would make changes to the city's charter that require the city council to set aside 50 percent of excess revenue for public safey, allow citizens to rate the city manager's performance, and allow residents to sue the city if it doesn't comply with the charter. State Sen. Nathan Johnson (D-Dallas) opposes the amendments and joined the Mid-Morning Mike Check on Tuesday.
