  • Reposition Yourself- Midweek Refuel
    2025/01/09

Pastor Johnson's midweek refuel message focuses on the concept of repositioning in various aspects of life, drawing from biblical stories and personal experiences. The core idea is that if your life isn't full of success, spirituality, and happy relationships, it's time to reposition yourself with the help of God. The message uses the story of Moses, who had to reposition himself to see God's glory, and the disciples who had to cast their net on the right side of the ship to catch fish, as metaphors for the importance of repositioning.

Here are some key points from the message:

    • Repositioning is necessary for a better outcome. It's like moving a fishing net from the left side of the ship to the right side to find fish.
    • Repeating the same actions while expecting different results is futile. If something isn't working, it's time to try a different approach.
    • Ignoring problems you have the power to change will lead to negative consequences, and you can only blame yourself.
    • 2025 should be a year of repositioning to achieve desired outcomes.

Pastor Johnson identifies four key areas for repositioning:

    • Mindset: Renew your mind and do not conform to the world. Instead, be transformed by the renewing of your mind as described in Romans 12:2.
    • Association: Be mindful of the company you keep, and associate with people who uplift you rather than drag you down. The scripture 2 Corinthians 6:14 advises against being "unequally yoked" with unbelievers.
    • Perception of Sin: Reposition your perception of right and wrong, good and evil, based on God's word rather than the world's standards. Do not call evil good and good evil as warned in Isaiah 5:20.
    • Relationship: Reposition your relationship with God by reading the Bible more often. Additionally, spend more quality time with family. He provides seven quotes emphasizing the importance of family:

In conclusion, the message encourages listeners to take a proactive approach to making changes in their lives by repositioning themselves in various areas with the help of God. It also emphasizes that 2025 should be a year of repositioning to achieve better outcomes and to get the blessings that people deserve from God.

  • Four Questions Regarding the Resurrection- Midweek Refuel
    2024/12/19

This Mid-Week Refuel discusses the topic of resurrection, judgment, and the end times. Pastor Johnson emphasizes the importance of taking notes and being a good listener.

Here are the main points covered in the message:

    • Two Resurrections: There are two resurrections: the resurrection of the just (or of life) and the resurrection of the unjust (or of damnation). These are separate events.
    • The First Resurrection: The first resurrection began after Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection when some saints also rose from the dead. This is described in Matthew 27:50-53.
    • The Great White Throne Judgment: This judgment occurs after the millennium (the thousand-year reign of Christ).
    • Judgment Seat of Christ: This is a separate judgment for the saints (believers) where they will receive their rewards and positions in heaven.
    • Who Will Do the Judging: Jesus Christ will be doing all the judging. The Father has committed all judgment to the Son, based on John 5:21-22.
    • Staying Under the Blood: Pastor Johnson encourages everyone to "stay under the blood of Jesus" and to plead the blood over their lives and families.

The message emphasizes that believers should strive to be part of the first resurrection and to avoid the great white throne judgment, stressing the importance of salvation, service to the Lord, and faith in Jesus Christ.

The church is located at 3002 Chelsea Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, with services at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
