  • In this dialogue we discuss the "Sixth Day" concept from God's perspective, who stands outside of time and space, instead of Mankind's perspective.  We try to demonstrate why those two perspectives on the "Sixth Day" are, surprisingly, very different.

In addition to this we try to show how Genesis chapters 1 through 5, and then the rest of the Old and New Testaments after that, form a single coherent literary structure when you look at it from the point of view of a Prologue-to-Narrative-to-Epilogue format.

Many Bible scholars disagree with this viewpoint because they fail to see the Prologue and Prophetic nature of chapter 1.  In order to see that structure they would need to believe the true author of the text is God, who stands outside of time and space.  And this is something that many of them are not inclined to believe.  An example of a Bible scholar who does not believe this is Joel Baden, and his critique can be found at the following link:

In particular, note what he claims in his lecture beginning at 11:55 and at 15:55 and contrast that with what we claim.
