著者: Emma Chandler
  • サマリー

  • Hello and welcome to the PIVOT Leadership podcast! We’re here to explore the intricacies of leadership, explore the science behind it, and hopefully learn a few things along the way.

I developed the PIVOT framework to help change work environments for the better. PIVOT uses neurological science to help leaders understand their colleagues and analyse their own feelings and responses. All in all, we aim to enhance mental well-being, improve performance, and benefit everyone involved.

    So, what does PIVOT mean?

    To PIVOT, you need:

Perseverance, Inclusion, Value, Optimisation, and Trust.

With my guests, we'll unpick these principles and discuss how each one is vital in building strong leaders.

    2024/09/04

Welcome back to The PIVOT Leadership Podcast.

In this episode, we’re going to be looking at how looking into the future builds and develops perseverance within leaders.

To discuss this, I am joined by Dr. Graham Norris. Graham is an organisational psychologist and futurist who helps individuals and organisations create more ambitious futures for themselves.

By combining the latest research into psychology with the tools of strategic foresight, Graham empowers participants in his workshops, training and keynotes to thrive amid uncertainty.

The bottom-line outcome for participants in his off-sites, workshops, training and keynotes is a clear understanding of the future and the ability to make decisions with conviction.

We delve into what it truly means to be a futurist and examine real-world examples of how he prepares leaders for the challenges ahead. Graham also shares psychological strategies to help leaders build perseverance and resilience within their teams.

Welcome back to The PIVOT Leadership Podcast.

In this episode, we’re going to be looking at value creation within leadership.

To join me in talking about this is Mark Moseley. He is the bestselling author of the book Pests to Peace and appeared as a candidate on BBC’s The Apprentice in 2023.

Prior to this, Mark started his career in the military. Mark and I met on an entrepreneurs’ programme and I knew that he would be the perfect guest to talk about value creation as he demonstrates it throughout his professional career.

We discuss what Mark has observed from leaders he’s worked with, and how he has taken his learnings into consideration when becoming a leader himself. He also shares the processes he’s put in place when growing his team to preserve professionalism within his business. Mark also shares insights into his time on The Apprentice.
