Okay, let’s just be real: sometimes you don’t want to read your Bible. Not because you don’t love God, but because you're tired, overwhelmed, distracted, or in survival mode. This episode is for the ones who feel guilty, stuck, or disconnected—and need a gentle way back into the Word.

    – What to do when Bible reading feels like a burden
    – Why it’s not laziness, it’s burnout (and how to know the difference)

  • Jesus Cares about The Little Stuff: Study of John 2:1–12
    2025/06/04

    Blog post: https://meandjesus.life/2025/06/04/jesus-cares-about-the-little-stuff-study-of-john-2112

What do you do when the wine runs out?
    When the plan falls apart.
When the need feels small, but still heavy.
In John 2, Jesus performs His first miracle—not in a temple or a storm, but at a wedding. A private, almost hidden moment. And it reveals so much about who He is and how He moves.

In this episode, we’re walking verse-by-verse through John 2:1–12 and unpacking why this moment matters, how Jesus shows up, and what it means to obey even when it doesn’t make sense.

If you’ve ever wondered whether Jesus cares about the small things—or why He’s asking you to haul water instead of solve the actual problem—this one’s for you.

  • Why habits matter, hearing from the Holy Spirit and more!
    2025/03/03

In this episode, I tackle the fear that the enemy uses to keep us from fully embracing our salvation and living out our faith. I share my personal experience with those crippling thoughts that tell us we're too flawed or unworthy to be with God—and how that lie limits His power in our lives. Once you've accepted Jesus as your Savior, there's nothing to fear. The enemy’s tactics are designed to box God in and keep us stuck in doubt. I dive into how our daily habits—especially consistent Bible reading and prayer—can strengthen our spiritual muscles, making us a real threat to the enemy. I also offer practical advice on listening to the Holy Spirit and taking radical steps in obedience, even when it’s uncomfortable. Ultimately, I encourage you to choose discipline and consistency in your spiritual journey, so that every time you pick up your Bible or say a prayer, you declare that nothing will hold you back from fulfilling God’s purpose.

  • When Obedience Feels like a Waste of Time
    2025/06/03

Obedience doesn’t always lead to instant fruit—and sometimes it feels like it made everything worse. In this episode, Karleigh Lynn shares a raw, personal story about following God to Florida, wrestling with disappointment, and learning what surrender actually looks like.

She also dives into Luke 5:1–11 to unpack how Peter’s reluctant obedience led to a miracle—and why that story matters when your faith feels like it’s not working.

    What we cover:

    • Why obedience can feel pointless when nothing changes

    • The truth about surrender and unseen fruit

    • A hard season Karleigh’s still processing

    • What Luke 5 teaches us about trying again

    • Why your faithfulness matters even when you’re frustrated

    2025/06/03
