  • Will Pete Rose Ever be in the Hall of Fame?
    2025/06/10

Slay Dude gives us the comings and goings of the American and National League. Detroit continues to rock but the Phillies have lost 9 of their last 10 and we have two new Division Leaders.

Special guest Jeff Haughty gives his insight in our Texas Rangers and lets us know what he thinks about their struggling offense.

Have we fully given up on any teams or is it just too early to call? Rangers couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a boat. Diamondbacks can’t hold a leash if their life depended on it and the Braves have some serious issues in their clubhouse.

Pete Rose was formerly banned from baseball but that ban was lifted earlier this year after the passing of the alltime career hits leader. Will he ever get voted into the Hall of Fame Fame or did batting on the game damage the integrity of baseball too much?

Slay Dude and the full Patterson Trifecta all back together again. Major League Baseball has its Rivalry Weekend for 2025. Josh and Adam go over the American Leagues scores, top performances, and standings. Minnesota Twins went on a 13 game heater and Josh is still hating.

Josh and Slay Dude give the National League recap and The Jimmies discuss a possible changing of the guard in the NL East as Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies are sneaking up on the Mets. And those St. Louis Cardinals on a heater of their own as they creep up close the the Chicago Cubs. And we have a special guest stop by to say hi.

Pops picks our standout performances at the plate. Congratulations to Will Benson of the Cincinatti Reds and Miguel Vargas of the Chicago White Sox.

Josh talks about the top pitchers, Merrill Kelly and Tyler Mahle. And then Slay Dude talks about just how bad Marcus Semien has been this week and, frankly, all season long.

The Jimmies talk about some of their favorite rivalries in history and try to figure out why the hell the Braves and Red Sox are a rivalry?

Josh gives us the recap of all the games of the past week in Major League Baseball while Pops and Slay Dude give us the standings. Tarik Skubal made history while his Detroit Tigers have the best record in the American League.

Speaking of making history, the Colorado Rockies are on pace to lose more games than any other team in MLB history. Congrats to those guys! The Pittsburgh Pirates fired manager Derek Shelton and Colorado Rockies quickly followed suit firing manager Bud Black. Yea, apparently those guys are the reasons for two of the worst records in baseball.

Rafael Devers and Freddie Freeman are the MLB players of the week. Pops and Slay Dude let everybody know which pitchers had the best week.

Rafael Devers also held a press conference and threw a little shade at the organization that’s paying him a cool $300M. Does he need to man up and learn to play first base or should he tell the Red Sox that he’s a DH now?

Jose Ramirez became the first 3rd baseman in history to record 250 stolen bases and 250 home runs. The Jimmies discuss his potential for being a HoFer and pay tribute to the little guys.

Thank you to all the mothers out there taking wonderful care of their kiddos!

On top of some exciting baseball, we also have some drama in the AL. Jarren Duran of the Boston Red Sox had some choice words for a fan that crossed the line. And Tommy Pham was not too happy about a fan reaching over the left field wall for a pat on the back.

Pops give us an update on the American League standings. You might be a little surprised, or maybe not, since you’re obviously baseball fans. Not to worry White Sox fans…At least you’re not as bad as the Colorado Rockies.

The National League was full of extra innings and wild, walk-off wins. Between the overturned calls and a little league home run, there was craziness to go around.

Slay Dude talks about NL standings. Atlanta had a very good week so how far did they move up? Josh has a hot take that might make some people angry in the dirty south.

Adam gives us the NL player and pitcher of the week and Pops didn’t read the agenda! But Adam saves the day. What a hero!!!

Slay Dude goes over the worst performances of the week and none of them are from the White Sox, Marlins, or Rockies.

Kyle Tucker will be a huge headline all year long but not just because of his on field performance. It’s a walk year for him and if he hits the free agent market - watch out!! There will be some deep pockets going after him. The Jimmies discuss the possible terms of his contract and the blowback if he’s not a Cubby next year.

  • Off the Field Drama in the East

There was some great ball in the American League this week. Tyler Soderstrom is on pace to break the single season home run record! Max Fried took a no-no into the 8th inning. Aaron Judge breaks a homerless streak. Ron Washington is a big reason for Halos success.

National League had drama, drama, drama and they didn't save it for your momma. Jose Lopez tried to take off Cutch's head after Mitch Keller broke Paul deJung's nose in the previous game and the benches cleared. Ronald Acuna, Jr. calls out his own manager. Juan Soto throws a little shade at Pete Alonso but gets a standing ovation when he comes back to Queens. 4 of the 5 best records in the NL are teams in the NL West.

Who were the top players and pitchers of the week? Soderstrom? Tatis Jr.? Crochet?

Who are the slumpers and dumpers?

Is Soto crying about his new team? Does he need to stop his bitchin' and earn that paycheck or were his words taken out of context? The Yanks and Aaron Judge are off to a great start but, frankly, The Mets and Pete Alonso ain't too shabby either.

Thank you for listening. Please follow us and send us a message. We would love to hear from you.
