Luke Barnett joins me this week to discuss his career in the film business. We met almost 20 years ago, when he was a bartender and I was a production assistant. He has since gone on to write and produce dozens of shorts as well as 2 feature films. His most recent effort, a short entitled: "The Crossing Over Express" went viral on social media and was inspired after Luke received a video message from his late mother. We discuss this journey and how some would say its "overnight success" when in reality its been decades of hard work. Comedian Michael Lenoci | Ep 162 Welcome back to The Isaac Abrams Show! This week comedian Michael Lenoci breaks down: Being difficult to work with, acting in detective movies, finding out when you die, his favorite directors, and the other culkin kid from succession and we sprinkle in some #wouldyourathers at the end. Here is his bio: Michael Lenoci is a stand-up comedian and actor based out of Los Angeles, CA. In 2017, he was one of the few stand-up comedians selected for the prestigious Just For Laughs New Faces and was invited to perform on the FOX stand up showcase the same year. Recently, Michael appeared on the hit television show “The Mick” on FOX and the “Goatface Comedy Special” on Comedy Central. Michael released his debut special ‘take your time’ in April 2024. Along with touring michael also has his own podcast ‘The Mike Lenoci show’.

Zack and I met last summer at the Brea Improv, has was featuring for Steve Furey and I did a guest set. He's been on my list to have on the show for a long time and we finally reconnected at the comedy store shortly after he found out he was the newest paid regular.
